Blew the day!
Well, in the past two weeks or so I lost 3.5 pounds. I've been doing very well on a 1400 calorie diet, and haven't been left wanting for anything. Today I ended up at a catered wedding shower. I tried to be good - started off the day with oatmeal and a banana so I wouldn't be hungry when I got there. Then I go in and get a drink of the orange juice - cause it was a morning event. Turned out to be a mimosa, which I only found out while drinking my second glass. Then out came the breakfast food (I seriously thought it would end up being lunch served farther into the party, but I was wrong). I love breakfast food, and it all was sooo good.
Needless to say, I tried being good and texted the foods to calorie count for the numbers, and I did pretty well for myself there, but the alcohol made me eat a bit more that normal - dulling the sign of fullness and all, and then later everyone went out for dinner at Brighams, so I said whatever and got the cobb salad (which was huge!) ate some onion rings, and then since I figured today would be my one and only 'cheat day' since I had already messeed it up - I got an ice-cream sunday.
The funny thing is, I don't feel bad about it. Well, I did - about 2 bites into the ice cream, but it was worth it. All I could think was it's better to do it all at once then to be left wanting for more tomorrow. Not like I can eat an extra 3500 calories in one day! So, I'm happy - and just wanted to say, all you others who may have let Saturday slip, tommorrow is another day!
I blew mine too and decided I just didn't care. Tomorrow is another day and we will just move forward from here!
Your attitude on this has sincerely cheered me up, since I just blew my saturday, too. :) I'm excited to start fresh tomorrow, with a morning run to kick it off.
I think a little cake, seafood and french fries were in order.
It always comes back off. =) Plus I got a heart rate monitor as a gift!!
Oh man, today was blow out day lol
I ate like 800 calories worth of Edy's Cookies and Cream Ice cream bringing my total to 2000 calories for the day.... I usually eat 1400. However, this has been a very hard weekend for me and I've been pretty down so I'm definitely not going to beat myself over it. As someone already mentioned, tomorrow is a new day! I know exactly how you all feel!
Today I ate an incredible amount of food...normally if I go over 1400 I feel like its been a bad day....and today I think I went up to 3500!!
How did I eat so much? Wow.
Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.
The good thing about eating a lot is it gives you a new incentive to eat well.

On Friday, I was good most of the day, but before I knew it, I realized that I had skipped lunch :/ So, we all know what happens when that occurs...I over ate at night. Blahhh. I ended up having ~2300 calories, with no workout. Then, yesterday, I started my period and got sick all in the same day. For some odd reason, I was craving like crazy when I was sick with a cold...? But, cravings took me over, and I had ~2100 calories. So, I guess all I can do is either work out today when I'm sick, or I can just be really, really good on my diet. Either way, I'm going to be good today!
fish- I just (finally) added approximately what I ate into the count for yesterday, and I think I hit about 3500 total too! lol I didn't know that was possible for my stomach to take. Today I did much better, even with driving most of the day and having to eat out. I feel redeemed-if not a bit bloated from all the junk yesterday.
Ohh its fine, we all have those days, as long as its not every day.
Its only 10am on a Monday morning and I already had 700 cals!!!! :(:(:(
I was dying for those entenmann's chocolate cofered donuts, so I got a pack with 2 and ate them. Two donuts had 500 cals!!!
Thank god I'm going to the gym after work to run that off :)

Me too :) I went to a Chipotle, which seems healthy enough, boy was I wrong. I went home and counted everything. Dear goodness. blew my diet of 1500 by 800 cals. Now, don't you feel better. But the commenter at the top said it best and it was something I needed to hear. Tomorrow is another day and I will be better tomorrow.
