Hey Blue Team!

I know you're all as excited as I am to get started, so I figured we'd begin by introducing ourselves - names, goals, hobbies, whatever you like!

Me first: I'm Ashley, I'm 20 years old and extremely excitable as I'm sure you'll all get to know. I don't really have a goal weight; I plan on figuring it out when I get to a place where I feel most comfortable. If you want an extremely longwinded explanation of this, you can find it in my bio :P

So I guess you could say that right now my goal is to have heaps of fun with this challenge, and hopefully help you guys have fun too!

This is my first Biggest Loser Challenge, but I've looked through some of the old threads so I'm pretty sure I've got a handle on how things go. If you guys like the idea, I was thinking that we could have a little "mini challenge" within our team. I'm also participating in the Spring-Summer Slimdown Challenge (in the Weight Loss forum, if you've never come across it), and every week we have a little nutrition or exercise goal (e.g. meet your calorie deficit every day, or meet your calcium requirements every day). Let me know what you guys think!

Feel free to use this thread for... well, pretty much anything. Talk about how you feel about the challenge, get some extra motivation when you need it, and help to motivate others. Most importantly, have fun - I honestly believe that's the BEST way to stay on track.

i dont know what's up with those greens? but we gotta do something about them!!

we can do it all we need is some motivation and also the data from the people not weighing in

Anyone tryed the diet green tea yet? Its actually pretty good, I was surprised, noticed Im not eating as much when drinking it throughout the day, (not sure if its in my head or not)

I think I am going to sneak into the green teams thread and just post some pictures of icecream and cakes, maybe that will help some-lol. guess we are stuck with the no-shows not weighing in, but the good news is, some of the other teams have no shows too. so maybe will equal out in percentage rates.

With the holiday weekend over, I am getting back into the zone now, walking 3 miles (all my big butt can handle at the moment) everyday, and will be digging up flower beds and planting flowers this weekend so gonna stay busy and hopefully get my scale to budge this week.

Good Luck to everyone this week. 5 more weeks left. Lets see what we can do :)

I had a decent loss this week, but I've been working out ALOT and was hoping to see more...it is ttom though so maybe there will be a bigger difference next week. I'm also trying to build up some muscle so maybe not...but here's hoping!

How's everybody doing? it's been quiet in here lately!

I'm having a hard time eating healthy lately - we live with my parents right now, and the fridge and freezers have been so full lately that I haven't been able to stock up on healthy foods - plus we're driving an hour for church responsibilities 2-3 days a week now, so my time for cooking is going downhill fast!

Anyway, I think I just needed to be honest with more than just myself for a minute.  I need to find a way to make eating healthy work, no matter the circumstances!

I hope everyone had a good weekend - and was able to stay on the ball for a weight loss this week!

Thanks :) mommabeans. Its not the green tea diet, Ive just been drinking diet green tea that I bought from the grocery store. I didnt think I would like it when i bought it but figured id try it and its pretty good, better choice than diet coke. Ive heard diet drinks will actually cause you to be more hungry, not sure if its true but I think Im not as hungry drinking the diet green tea.

After last weeks awesome weight, here I am stuck again, nothing this week so far. My body seems to hold onto weight for dear life so maybe Ill get another great loss in a week or 2.

Hope for a good week next week everyone, and hope some of our MIA smurfs come back. Summer will come and go and I hope were all down from our high weight at the end of summer even if its just 5lbs down, were better off and going in the right direction.
