Hey ladies,
Just to introduce myself I go by Papa3169, Papa for short. From the looks of it I am once again the only guy in the group. I do not mind a bit. My last "family" team did very well though the first four or five weeks then seemed to slack off a little (including me), that is why I had to do this again, to go through the whole 12 weeks hot and heavy. I am here to motivate and move all you ladies. I try to come up with a "qoute of the day" each day. I am here just like the rest of you, trying to lose some weight. I started in Mar 06 at 350 pounds and I am currently sitting at 265. I will not be happy until I see 100, and would love to do it by Sept 26, for my class reunion.
Austj020 - Good to see you again, we were team "family" members last challenge. Let's kick some tale.

Morning folks,
This is the first time I am feeling BLUE and not upset about it! I am PSYCHED! In fact I think I will run and grab a bottled water and jump on my cross trainer this morning to pay tribute.
As of this morning I am stuck at 191 and still not budging, but I am hoping my plateau ends soon. This said, I am on vacation this coming week so I apologize ahead of time for any misbehaving I might do. I Need you blue teamers to help keep me motivated OK?

I'm a bit nervous about going to a wedding this weekend, but I think I'm actually going to behave myself knowing we all depend on each other! (LOVE this challenge!)

kelz80---i have a wedding to go to this weekend also! im a vegeterian and ive been told that there will only be two non=meat dishes, so hopefully they wont be very fatty dishes...cross your fingers!
anyway, im so excited to start this. i definitely need motivation because i am also stuck at a plateau. yikes!

It's great to be on a team and do this again! I'm really motivated and ready to go! July 4th was...interesting to say the least, and I'm up 2 lbs from weigh in :( But I REFUSE to let the team down.
Papa is right, we are a family here! Yay team blue! So if you need support, are feeling down, need some suggestions, or just a place to vent...let it rip!

Woot I'm raring to go! My weigh in this morning was 219 (up 3 lbs due to TTOM - sorry for the tmi papa) but that'll drop fast in a few days I'm hoping. I'm aiming for 150 by my 30th birthday in April so I'm hoping this challenge will help me get well on my way.

Hey Team Blue!
I'm excited to start my second round of the Biggest Loser. I came in second last round by only one point...so I am determined to do just as well - for myself and for the team. This first week was a zero loss/gain, but after the holiday weekend, I'm just glad I didn't gain!
I too am going to a wedding this weekend (like a few others on the team), so it should be interesting. I think the 8 hour car ride will be the hardest part (dang truck stop food!), but I'm goint to pack some good snacks for the road.
Best of luck to everyone. I loved the last challenge, but my group got really small, really fast - so I hope everyone sticks with it and keeps posting in the Blue Team thread. :)

If you don't want to eat a lot at the wedding, I'd say go the other way. Eat more right before you go so you feel full and don't crave the wedding fare. But, if you plan on making it a treat day, then maybe restrict a tiny bit during the day to offset, but again, the hungier you are going in, the more you're going to eat while you're there lol.

Hey Blue Team!
I went to a wedding this past Saturday and I ate very little during the day and then pretty much what I wanted that evening, which wasn't as much as I'd have thought. I really enjoyed the salad believe it or not. I had a few glasses of wine and the crowning touch was a single dip of vanilla ice cream and that was the best tasting thing I had all evening. Anyway, as far as I can tell it did not hurt me that much because I'm still down though not as much as I hoped. Blue Team will reign superior! Looking forward to your quotes Papa!
Yay Blue Team! I'm very new to calorie-count, and this is my first BL challenge. I couldn't be more excited! I know being a part of this team is going to be a huge motivator. Looking forward to sharing this with all of you!
