OK I bought 2 tubs of fresh blueberries at the store yesterday. I normally don't eat blueberries and now I am not sure what to do with them......any ideas?

Blueberries work with anything... in Cereal, on Ice Cream. You can make fruit-kabobs with Blueberries and Strawberries.. uh.. what else? :)
I put 50 on my cereal in the morning, or with my yogurt, or with cottage cheese, or well, just darn by themselves, yummy yummy goodness.
For a dessert, some low fat CoolWhip is nice, too. Blueberries are like the easiest fruit to deal with (no pits, cores, or hulls!)

Blueberries are my absolute favourite! I put them in my oatmeal in the mornings, I eat them for supper in a salad with peppers, lettuce, and carrots, I eat them plain for dessert, I put them in plain yogurt, I even make a lovely blueberry "crumble" that's basically just fresh blueberries topped with rolled oats for crunch and a touch of brown sugar, baked in the oven for a couple of minutes. Serve it with a little scoop of ice cream, and mmmm...the perfect dessert for when I'm feeling indulgent.
Thanks everyone...
You can also freeze them! Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and spread the berries out in a single layer and freeze. When frozen solid, pour them into labeled plastic freezer bags and enjoy them all winter.
Here's a treat for you - put some frozen blueberries in a bowl (don't thaw) and pour some sweetened skim milk over. Stir and the milk will freeze to the berries and taste like sherbet. It's good!

Very bad idea with sweetened milk. Keep it simple learn to love them as they are. They are very low in calories and very healthy too.
I freeze them (as above individually) and then eat them frozen - one by one when I feel like something "sinful"

i thought blueberries had alot of calories compared to other fruit?
Blueberry Crisp. Deadly. I make it with splenda and sugar free syrup. If you want the recipe let me know.
debcowant - I would love the recipe.....
I do think they are good. (Just got first of two containers down).

magan - I refuse to give up my frozen blueberry treat! Very stubborn I am. I use a little splenda to sweeten the milk, but sometimes the blueberries are so sweet they don't need it.
I also love them to nibble on when I'm watching tv - just a nice bowl of blueberries and me!

83 calories in a cup of blueberries - not bad!

Here's one of my favorite treats:
Freeze your blueberries. Mix them up with some nonfat vanilla yogurt. Sprinkle with cinammon. Yum!
The yogurt freezes on the outside of the berries, and you get a delicious burst of flavor that's better than anything you could get at TCBY!
Also, if you like pancakes, toss them into the batter the next time you're whipping some up. Tastes great AND you sneak in an extra serving of fruit. Can't beat that!
