i know you must be really annoyed by people asking the same question but to make sure i get this a 100%......
My bmr = 1400 calories
I burned = 250 calories
I ate = 1700 calories
Take away my bmr from 1700 = 300 calories
Take away my burned 250 calories = 50 calories
Total in my body 50 calories is that right??? Have i finally got it???
Just to let you know i calculated this on a normal day, and if i am living off 50 calories that cant be good for me right?Do i need to change how much im eating?
Thanks for reading it =) xxx

so... 1) am i getting this right?

And....2) will the calories i have left over like the 50 eventually add up to 3500 and gain a pound?

thanks again x

Your equations are correct. Though i wouldn't fret about 50 calories. Fifty calories here or there isn't going to make a big deal, and i doubt the calculations made here are a hundred percent accurate. Still, try cutting out that extra piece of bread or taking a slightly smaller portion of rice, if you are really worried about the 50 calories.

Thank you e_bennentt88, i nearly gave up hope on anyone answering...thanks again =) x

i know you asked this quite awhile ago so perhaps you have figured it out by now but you aren't "living off of 50 calories".  you are living off all the calories you eat.  if you burn more than you eat then you will lose weight.  if you eat more than you burn you will gain weight.  so yes if you ate 50 more calories than you burned for 70 days (adding up to 3500 calories) you would eventually gain a pound but more likely you have some days where you burn more than you eat and some days where you eat a little more than you burn.  50 calories is not biggie.  after all it would take 70 days of 50 calories extra to add up to just 1 pound which is a lot of days.  does this all make sense to you?  hope this helps....

hahaha!! yess sshr8776 this wa a while ago...but its still always nice to get a reply. =)
