okay...i have been at this weight loss thing for a while. definitely making progress in the gym but always have trouble figuring out what i should be eating. i have some extra fat around the tummy area (had since forever). i want to know how i should alter my diet in order to see better results. i have been working so hard and its frustrating to not see my abs! help!

to see your abs you would have to get the layer of fat covering them down to a very low level. you can spot reduce fat, therefore youd need to lower your overall body fat % and hope that some/ enough comes off your tummy. I wouldnt think this is neccessary if you are happy with your overall apperance. It may take a fwe onths for the sit ups and crunches to show the difference but once the muscles become tight they will pull your tummy in making it look smaller even without losing the fat.
i don't forsee my overall body fat reducing that drastically any time soon. however, i will try to continue various ab exercises and hope that it makes a difference. is there anything i should be doing differently with my diet?

Well, that would depend on what your diet is.

Give me a rough break down of what you're eating, how much, and the percentages of fat/protein/carbs as shown in the analysis tab on here.
