Does anyone here do the Body for Life eating and exercise plan? If so how many calories to you tend to take in per day and how may calories should be eaten on the cheat day?
I have went from 252 to 217 (since Feb 08) and work out 3-6 days per week; cardio and 3 days of weight training. I have recently kicked up my weight training to a more intense leve. The Body for Life program was suggested to me by my trainer that designed my exercise plan. I am just relunctant to do it because of not wanting to take in too many calories. Also my trainer thought it would be a good way to increase my Weight loss (sort of on a plateau for a while).
Any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm 5'9" and my daily goal is 2250. I eat about 3000 on my cheat day. I work out 5-6 days a week, but two of those days are jiu-jitsu. I'm not very strict on the diet part- I only eat 5 times a day and I just make sure I'm eating fairly balanced meals. My buddy's been more strict and lost about 20. I've been doing very well with the fitness portion of the program, though. Besides gaining strength, I've lost 8 pounds since I started mid-October, and lost inches off both my waist and hips.
Are you still on the Body for Life program? My doctor suggested it last week so I started the program yesterday. I had been eating 1,500 cal per day but she said it was not enough but it's hard to up the calories and stay in the good eating zone.
Any advice?
