Found a new resource on body types.

Have any of you taken these body types based weight loss/exercise guidelines into account?  Did they deviate much of what you have already been doing?  If yes, were they more affective?

Thanks for the link, Kisa!
I'm a mesomorph... weird :p  I guess it makes sense.
mesomorph as well.
wow, brooke, dunno that I'd advertise that much in my profile...
I'm with you, Saro.

It says I'm right between an endomorph and a mesomorph.  *le sigh*  Why couldn't the mesomorph have won this battle?  Looks like I need to cut down on sugar and eat more often.  Rats.
Eat Rats?? Oh no!! I would not recommend that!! *wink*
*sticks her tongue out at you*  I'd think they'd be kinda good, actually.  The tail is probably nice and crunchy.
nah, I'll stick with my Crunchy Frog chocs.

I bet Rat on a Stick is better than Lizard on a Stick.  Anybody know if the little skins shuck off like squirrels? (and if you understood that, you're a REDNECK! but it's OK, me too.)

I'm a mesomorph- mabye i should start body building after i lose the baby weight?!

Why not start now?  More muscle means you'll have an easier time losing the weight.  Besides, lifting weights helps keep your skeleton in good shape (don't remember why this is, though).
Lifting weights looks so ridiculous!  I was always a cardio person and smirked at all those puffed up red-faced pigeon looking man in weight room.  Last week, my hubs and I signed up for a personal trainer. I feel like a fool on those machines!!! aaaaa!
No matter what test I take, I come out Endomorph.  Guess that means that's what I am.  I've been told this is the hardest body type to lose fat.  I know I sure haven't found the right formula to lose yet.  I am going to keep trying until I figure it out.
It says I'm between an Ectomorph and a Mesomorph, but I'm fairly sure I
know several Ectos and I don't look anyting like one of them.  I
think somehow my freakishly small wrists have frazzled the test
results.^^  But then again, it's very difficult to view yourself
as you are rather than what you aren't.
It says I am between an endo and mesomorph. It's funny because I am already doing both of the suggestions they made, and when I really follow it,  that's usually when I see good results. Interesting. Thanks for the link :).
I'm a mesomorph.  It makes sense I guess.  I never knew protein is so important for me.... maybe I will try getting more protein in my diet.  How can you lose lean muscle mass by doing too much cardio??
That's a really good web site by the way. It says I'm a Mesomorph...my score was 1.92 (if it wasn't for the last question it would have been an even "2.0")!
What they said about it is all what I already knew. But it did remind me to "watch for any slow creeping fat gains"...and I do snack sometimes too much so this is good for me to remember!
yes, ecka, it is good to remember.  I am a meso too... I have always known that, but now I am a little more pear shaped than I should be.... hense, here I am.  Hopefully more exercise and being a bit more conscious of what I am eating will help me get rid of my "slow creeping fat gain" it even sounds icky.
I am a cross between a endomorph & mesomorph. Currently I have great legs (no fat) but a fat stomach (apple fat apple) combined with broad shoulders, if i was a man or a footbal player this would be cool but i am not. Currently I work out 3 to 5 days a week with a mix of weight training and cardio on alternating days. I eat pretty heathly high protien low fat low carb. I intake about 1700-1800 calories a day. I am 5'7" medium boned. I have been working out for a couple of years now and for some reason I cant seem to lose the fat. I have pretty good muscle mass for a girl. but you cant see it under the fat. what am i doing wrong? Am I missing something here.......

Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?

You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
