Body wrap?? Have you tried it??
Okay. I have to loose lots of weight...this i Know. I am not having a problem doing that. However, I am worried about.....dooom doom doooooom....flab. Although I am loosing weight my skin is not snapping all the way back.
I had a co worker who suggested bodywrap. Her husband has done it and he says it took a few inches off of him.
Does anyone have an info on it. or suggestions??
Hey,
welcome to the group!
I've never done a body wrap..but I have heard that u do lose inches (usually due to water loss) and that the inch loss is temporary.
I found this website that seems informative and will probably tell u what u need to know:

(it's not allowing me to add it as a link for some reason)
Hope this helps!
The best thing for skin elasticity is exercise. I have the driest skin and a lot of it! I've lost over 35lbs already and yeah, I have some flab, especially because I'm still slightly overweight, but it would have been worse had I not exercised some. All the nutritionists and people I have talked to about it say that weight lifting (specifically the muscle toning variety rather than the muscle building kind) will tighten up your skin. As well, yoga does the same thing while lengthening muscles and lubricating your joints!
Also, if you have stretch marks (which I did) rub yourself down with crisco or some similar non-hydrogenated vegetable shortening. I used crisco for about a year or so every night before bed and sometimes after showers on all of my stretchmarks that I then had for years. (breasts, hips, inner thighs and backs of upper arms) I have no stretchmarks!!! (unless you're really looking hard, but there is zero discoloration)
Awesome...that sounds great.
I've picked up some light weights...I'll have to get into yoga. Those darn stretch marks...it seems the more weight I loose the more stretch marks appear.
I thought it should have been the other way around [gain weight get stretch marks] I'll give crisco a try
thanks for suggestions
