Im pretty sure its pretty much pure protein...so good stuff.
I wouldn't be embarrassed to admit it if I were you--it's quite the culinary trend these days. :) Supposed to be great, but I haven't been able to bring myself to try it yet.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....interesting.
I knew one lady back in the early nineties (babysitter) who would eat the chicken bones from any chicken meal she ate because of some diet she was on. So...maybe there's something to it?

Lots of Iron. red blood cells are made in the bone marrow. Anemia is when your red cells are of poor quality or too few. Lack of iron eventually makes you anemic. Every menstruating woman is losing blood cells. that is why women need more iron than men. Liver is where iron is stored until the bone marrow needs it to make blood cells. Might have some extra calcium from the bone ?
In the animal kingdom, bone marrow is prized as delicious. It is fought over by many species. The bone marrow and the eyes are often the first things eaten on an animal. ~ Lost Artist

My daughter was taunting me witht he marrow from a ham bone. It looks so gross to me and then on a dare ate. I still cant believe it but it makes sense that it would be healthy.
There are two types of bone marrow (at least in humans, I don't know about chickens!)
Red marrow produces blood cells and platelets and, in humans, marrow is almost all red in infants. Over time, as the skeleton matures, the red marrow is replaced with yellow marrow, which stores fat.
