Boob Question

Quote  |  Reply

Please don't think I'm strange for asking this, but I am rather big chested around a D cup to a DD cup. Before I gained weight (approx. 25 pounds) I was around a fuller C to D cup so they did'nt go up that much with the weight gain. However I have lost 10 pounds since Jan the 13th and my boobs are still the same size. But the look way bigger cause I have been exercising more and lots inches too...

So my question is do you think I will lose anything off my boobs or will they stay this size as the rest of me gets smaller? Embarassed I don't want to look way out of proportion. Is anyone else experiencing this?

It would be a lot to hope for to expect them to stay the same. They are made out of fat and when you reduce your bodyfat they will probably diminish somewhat. But, as you say, the rest of your body will get smaller so they should continue to be proportionate.

I was a D before gaining, up to a double D and now after losing 85 pounds I am a 34B. Slowly getting used to my cute little cupcakes Kiss and buying really cute bras!

Thanks for your reply iheratsin

I would'nt mind them going down to a C cup. But just now they look huge! Maybe they will be the last place I see a loss in.

cheers x

Well, if this is any consolation to you, I started almost 25 pounds ago about busting out of my DDDs and now they just fit perfect.  I'd love to get back into my DD I wore before having kids.  I just don't know if it'll happen.  I've always been out of proportion, so I know the feeling.  It stinks.  Having a small frame with big boobs isn't the look I've wanted for myself all my life.
Typically, we lose in the order we gain.  My chest is the last to grow and the first to go.
It took 50lbs lost for me to go down from a 40D to a 36C and I know that when I was 115lbs I was a 34B (currently 150ish lbs) so for some people it can take up to 30-40lbs per cup size... it does depend on the person though.
I have been various weights over the years and the smallest i have ever been is a double d cup. My biggest was an f. So they do shrink but i think some people are just prone to larger breasts. You just have to learn to dress those puppies right!!!
I'm still waiting for my boobs to go.
Over 20 pounds of weight loss and nada. Large chests look horribly tacky :(

Hey thanks for the replies, I guess everyone is different. I think my boobs were one of the first places I put on weight so maybe they will be the last to come off.

I don't want them to get way smaller though, i'm used them now. They've always been slightly bigger and I was the girl and school to develop them first lol. You know the one.  I don't think they are tacky sorry rampantbunnylove. They can just be a pain to dress.... hehehe

Unfortunately, I lost some of my boobs, haha. I went from a C to a B. Not a huge jump, but still... :(
I wish mine would get smaller.  At my thinest I was a B but when I had my last two children I went up to a D. Frown  I have lost 15lbs and they still are the same size. I am keeping my fingers crossed that one day I will wake up and they are little again. LOL
Yours got larger after having kids? Did you breast feed, Jen?
I'm hoping and praying that mine don't get too much smaller... I actually have like 100lbs to lose and I'm only a B cup now... AHHH... if they get much smaller I'll be in the negatives! lol

I think changes in boob size, although of course they are a more sensitive point, go right along with learning to love your body for what it is.  I feel, if I don't love my body no matter what size I am, I'm less likely to be driven to take care of it.

So grab what you got and make it as healthy as can be.  That will be more beautiful than anything.

Some people are lucky and get to kep there boobs.  I've lost 50 pounds and mine are just a tad smaller now.  I would highly reccomend getting measured.  Most specialty shops will do it for free.  It takes less than 30 seconds and you don't have to disrobe or anything.  It's reccomended that you get measured ever six months or so to make sure your in the right size.  You may be suprised to find out what it is.

Hey, I have a question about your profile. I have seen some of you with those types of pictures, that are computer generated. Where can I do that? If it's a website please post it for me, thanks so much.

Personally I'm worried about losing all my boobs, I'm in D's now and I want to lose about 40 pounds and I don't want to get smaller than a C.

I've lost about 80lbs and used to be a C cup and now I'm barely an A...so yes I would say you'd definately lose weight from your chest as well (I wish I hadn't! lol)
I'm actually hoping to lose a couple sizes off the girls. My DD's look proportionate (thankfully) on me right now, but I have about 75lbs to lose, and I don't want to stay a DD... That, and my husband prefers them smaller (go figure). I would be thrilled if I could get back to my B that I was in high school.
