The question is folks, are there exercises that work to lift those puppies up? that work!  Until this last  upward yo-yo with weight, my breasts remained small and ok.  now they are larger and headed south.

does anyone sleep in a bra at night? does it help ?

thanks

Marjg,

I don't know the answer to this exactly; I know that exercise can tone up the underlying pectoral muscles, but I don't think that will lift the breasts themselves significantly. As for sleeping in a bra, it couldn't hurt. I have a couple of nice comfy bras that are made for sleep or around the house. The idea here is to avoid stretching tissue via gravity.

At 56, I know the girls are a lot more south than they used to be! When I had my last mammogram, the technician asked "Have you lost weight?" I replied that I had, and she said she knew that my breasts were smaller than last year's films.

If I were rich, I might think about getting them jacked back up; but no, I think I'll save that for the face.

I have the same problem.  No matter how much I excercise or how much I lose, they are bigger than ever!  I did go and buy a minimizer bra, which helps a little.  The only other thing I can think of is to adjust how I dress to accomodate the big boobs.  It is so frustrating!  Glad to hear this is a problem for others as well

thanks for the response.  found out from my daughter(who knew she would know) they make soft sleep bras.  so will try that out. she also told me a soup can exercise.  she learned it from her pilates person (so it must be true LOL).  life is so funny isn't it.  appreciate the acknowledgement   Wonder is this is a topic we should type in a whisper.  I am from the south and weeeeee have sooooooooooo many rules.  which of course we either follow or ignore depending on our mood wants or desires Cool

Let me know how the soup cvan excercises work. If all else fails, amybe we can get a group discount for breast reductions!  I am in the south as well.Laughing

I live in South Florida, does that count Cool I just turned 54 yesterday, and I was 50 pds over weight, now only 40...yahoooo. But I have the same breast problem. I'm six feet, so I really do have gravity problems. LOL I was 36 24 36 in my twenties, now I'm 40 D 32 42 and they girls are hanging. I'm now using hand weights to see if they firm up more. I'll let you know how I progress. But I do feel great, and finally seeing the pounds drop off. I have a 35th High School reunion Oct. 23rd in Orlando, Fl. So that's helping me staying motivated. Thanks for this thread.......

checking in  with y'all.  exercise helps me feel like I am doing something.  There are soft sleep bras for nursing mom's kinda stretchy things.  doesn't bother me except when i have a hot flash & everything bothers me!!!!!LOL
