I just bought size 14 pants!

I've never been size 14 in my life, not even as a teenager.

I'm so excited!

I just bought size 18 jeans yesterday. I was in 24's a year ago, I'm pretty happy too. I would love to be a 14!

once i reach 155 ...im going to go out and buy myself a new pair of jeans.. cant wait to see what size i am!!!

Isn't it the most awesome feeling!?  Have you held up your new jeans and noticed how small they are?!!  Being a size 14 is great, there is usually a lot of selection in that size.  Keep up the good work!  I love to hear good news like this!

I recently bought size 16s, which was pretty exciting too, since it wasn't that long ago I was wearing 24s or 26s. I am not tooo excited though, because they are very stretchy jeans and probably vanity-sized as well....I will only "count it" when I fit into non-stretchy fabric in that size. But it is an amazing feeling looking at that little number 16, and holding them up to see that they look like normal sized jeans! I was aways so embarassed by how huge my jeans looked, even just to myself when folding laundry, so it's a really exciting thing to feel more "normal".

The bridesmaid dress I ordered in Dec arrived today... and it fell around my ankles. :) I don't even mind the $ I am spending to alter it!

 That's awesome.  I bought a suit for a wedding in July and I am not even getting it tailored until two weeks out.  I bought three work suits last month and the pants are already too big.  As a guy, I can honestly say that my equivelent to your bridesmaid's dress falling off was the day I ran out of holes on my belt.

Funny how buying smaller clothes that fit is so much more fun than buying clothes going up a size.  Price didn't even bother me.  I actually looked in Armani...too bad I was still too big for anything in that store.  Maybe next year.

 My size 16s are getting loose, so I'm looking for summer clothes in size 14.  In summer 2005, I was a size 22!

I know what you mean! I got into a pair of 12s today (I won't say they "fit") but they were very stretchy.

Congratulations to everyone who is experiencing this!! It's a great feeling. As for me, yesterday I bought some summer tops... at the Gap!

I was so excited to fit into regular store tops that I almost called my friends, but they have always been thin and wouldn't have understood why it was so exciting for me.  But hey - that's what CC is for!! :)

Don't discount any improvement in getting into a smaller and healthier size! It is an impresive accomplishment! A little over a year ago, I was also wearing 26's, yesterday I tried on a pair of 14's - and amazingly they fit! It is trully a wonderfully rewarding feeling.  I have always been overweight, now I feel like I am finallly getting control of my body and health. I have lost 100 pounds so far and still going for another 15-20. I carried those 100 pounds for 20 years and am so glad to be rid of them! Keep up the great work!
