Did you bounce back from a low point/falling off the wagon/etc?
So today was not great. I had to face the fact that either I'm doing some serious water retention due to that time of the month, or that all those stupid (and evilly delicious) pies I've been making at the request of family and friends have caught up with me. This is the second holiday season I've fallen off the wagon, bad, and I thought I wasn't going to do it this time.
My only saving grace is that my boyfriend, who is stubborn and generally sticks to his word, for better and occasionally for worse, is going to do a very strict, very intense eating-plan/workout with me for 6 weeks, which should bring me back to a normal weight, since I have no choice but to do it with him.
But, that didn't stop me from crying my eyes out for an hour wondering why I have such constant problems with my weight. I don't have that far to go (30 lbs and I'll be better than normal), and I really am extra-big today especially, but holy cow, I am SICK of falling off the wagon. And so mad at myself.
Has anybody else done this and bounced back from it? How awesome did you feel after that? I'm so bummed out I'd love to hear a good success story... or even about a small victory.
seriously, don't worry, everyone has tough times, and likes to eat those pies. And like most women, TOTM is the worst for feeling depressed, guilty, and bloated :( you'll bounce back.
And Like you've already said, you're going to start that diet plan with your boyfriend, therefore you're already 'bouncing back' you'll get there don't worry! and good luck, you can do it!
I fell off SO badly. Gained back almost all of the weight I've lost in the past year+. I'm so disappointed in myself.
But here's to starting fresh! we can do it!
