I worked yesterday so I didn't get to see the game. Frown But I'm glad we won!

I watched the game with my mom and dad.  We whooped it up!!!

I'm not even a football fan and *I* was impressed with both games!

Kimne - I laughed at your chat comment about grocery stores and 'Skins games. I made the mistake of going to Whole Foods about 15 minutes after yesterday's game. The parking lot was packed! Rockville Pike was backed up to turn into the plaza! Before the game is bad and halftime is terrible. It reminds me of my ex who used to always go skiing on SuperBowl Sunday because the slopes were empty. He watched the highlights so he wouldn't look like a dope at work!

Well Jim Zorn is in the hot seat and Jason Campbell needs to go somewhere else.  He is talented; but heck after the past several years, he really hasn't done anything for us and it can't all be blamed on the coaches.

There is this saying that I think about when I start to have a bad day; it is not verbatim but it goes like this.  Please excuse the French; I am not trying offend.

Somebody does something to wrong you or piss you off;  maybe he/she's an ****.

Someone else does something to wrong you or piss you off; again maybe he/she's an ****.

Another person does something to wrong you or piss you off; maybe you are the ****.

Hello icegryl . . . relatively new to area and new to CC . . . Do not have a affinty towards skins.  Have a co-worker that is a disgusted Skins fan, him and his wife returned there Cooley jerseys and no longer go to games.  I fortunately am and always have been a Jets fan and default to the Vikings when the Jets arent playing.  Beyond those two teams do not watch or go to many games.  The last live NFL game I saw was the Saints @ the L.A. Rams, eons ago when I lived in Santa Barbara.  Saints won very similarly to how there winning now.

For myself I realize that I am either moving towards being an a****** I once was or moving away from being that a****** I once was.  I do so by no longer believing that I am the center of the universe or like the actor trying to run the whole show attempting to arrange life as I would have it.  I have found a joy and peace in realizing that in this drama of life, God is the Director.  When I come across an actor-would-be-director type I treat them as I would a sick person with compassion, tolerance, and paitence.  It not always easy, but sometimes it better to be happy than right.
