Brag about your achievements Here........ Let's Hear It
I thought we should all take some time to brag about our achievements. I've been noticing my weight loss and exercise taking hold, yet despite requests to my SO for his opinion, the best I've had yet is, "yeah, you're working." (I was hoping for something more along the lines of, "Wow! You're looking hot!)
So, let's brag...
My brag is that I am jogging again AND my gut is decreasing.
Who's next?

I've lost seven pounds and a pair of jeans from the summer (pre-10 lb. gain) fit again!
my brag is that I lost 31 lbs... and even the smallest jeans I owned that I thought would never fit again are getting too big ^_^
ive gotten skinnier since ive started and...3 guys have asked me out
I've lost 8 pounds since October, my size 4 jeans that I couldn't wear for over a year are now fitting me, and guys are hitting on me at the gym! Ok, the last one is kind of annoying, especially when I'm trying to run on the treadmill, but it's nice to know someone finds me attractive even when I'm wearing crappy clothes, got my hair in a ponytail, don't have any makeup on, and I'm sweating like crazy. =)
I've lost 17 lbs, my endurance has increased like crazy, people underestimate me and get smoked whenever I play sports because of my size but then they really respect me lol, I'm not ashamed of my stomach as much because now it's not sticking out as far as it used to, my muscles in my arms and legs have increased in size and are looking awesome, and... I can beat teens skinnier than me in running and still not get as tired as they do. Haha, I like the last one. ;D
I have lost 123 lbs. in the last 10 months! I had to buy a whole new warddrobe. I can buy fitted clothesm now instead of my usual baggy jeans and hoodies! I got myself a lovely girlfriend and I feel a lot more self confident about myself and life!
WooT!

Lost over 50 pounds since mid-April. Went from 22-24 to a sixteen. Can run 30 minutes on the elliptical. Can run on the street. Dropped 15 seconds off my 100 freestyle time.
I just finished my first term of grad-school yesterday and I am flying home to see my family tomorrow that I haven't seen since August.
Also, though yesterday was very bad (food wise) and some days over the last month, I continued to exercise and was down a 1.5lbs this morning (I only have 9lbs to loose).

My brag is 43 lbs down, 5 pants sizes lost, and now I'm the eye candy in the gym. Boy is that weird and new!
Also, I haven't been back to my hometown for about 18 months, so except for my folks, none of the crowd at home have seen the new me. Should be an interesting visit next week.

I've lost more than 53 lbs since June, and people have been noticing. I got called the b-word for losing weight (from a friend I see only occasionally and I knew it was coming from that congratulations/jealousy spot). It made me feel fantastic!
I am stuck at 185, BUT I actually got through Thanksgiving AND a huge Christmas party and STAYED at 185!!!
yay for everyone!
yay for everyone!
After just a month, my clothes are fitting looser, and I can fit into my "skinny" pants just fine!
Hubby woke up one morning and thought he just 'got' a new wife :p Weehehell~ he ain't see nothing yet coz I'm not finished! ~.^
I've lost 25 pounds, 4 inches from my waist and 3 inches everywhere else. I can fit into all my tight jeans again.
Congratulations to you all!
Here's my bragging:
At the beginning of June I weighed 218 lbs. I was completely out of shape, I would get out of breath walking up the steps to my office, and I was uncomfortable simply sitting in a chair. I felt fat, and I felt terrible about myself.
Six months later I've lost 45 lbs (down to 173). I run 5 miles a day, lift weights 3 times a week (I see a personal trainer once every two weeks), and I feel strong and healthy. I actually have muscles now! My cholesterol has gone down enough simply by my healthy lifestyle that I no longer have to take Lipitor. Everyone - friends, family and people at work - tell me how great I look and ask how I did it.
I'm usually not one to brag, but I am really proud of what I've accomplished and I intend for this lifestyle change to be a permanent one. I don't ever want to let myself go back to being out of shape and unhappy.

Congrats to everyone. It's great to read everyone's weight loss progress. Me? I'm down 18lbs as of today, my size 14's are real baggy on me, my 12's are loose and I own only 1 pair of size 9's. I tried on a size 7 and it fit snug but didn't think I'd ever get there.
I'm up running at 4.7mph for 30 minutes without stopping. I'm on the treadmill a total of 45 minutes. I know I can push myself even longer but want to wait a few weeks before I start changing my routine again. My husband and I have started weight training 4x/week and whenever we run into family or friends has me show off my calf muscles.
Best of luck to everyone as we continue our journey.
