I buy Alpine Valley bread at Costco. It is very delicious, specially toasted.

Nutritional Info for one slice:

70Cal Fat 1g Carb 15g, Fiber 3g, Protein 5g

Sara Lee 100% Multi-Grain

Nutritional Info for one slice:

45 Cal   Fat .5g   Sodium 100mg   Carb 9g   Fiber 2g   Sugar 1g   Protein 3g

I usually eat nature's own light honey wheat.

not as nutritional as whole wheat breads but it's only 40 cals/slice

basically i go for wholegrains, wholewheat, rye (anything dark) the brands i usually buy are Vogel, Freyas and Ploughmans. their breads are thick and very filling..i donno if this is high calories but their about 171 cals for 2 slices sounds good to me.

arnold sandwich thins in rye, whole wheat, or whole grain, and Weight Watchers whole wheat pitas.

171 cals is fine.

:]

Sara Lee as listed above, and/or Oroweat 100% whole wheat.

With the curren't diet I'm on the only bread I can eat is :

Kontos: Pocket-Less Pita whole Wheat

210 Calories 38  carbs for per (flatbread) but I can only eat half of it. So basically that info 1/2.

Horrible taste but I'm in this diet 100%.

I like a variety:

Thomas Eng Muffin 100Cal Light: 100cals (duh), 8 grams of fiber and about the same for protein.

100% Whole Grain buns from walmart: 110 cals, 8 grams fiber, 8 protein

Thomas' whole grain bagel: 240 cals, 7 fiber, 10 protein.

I workout often so the protein is super important.

Nature's Own Double Fiber Wheat Bread

1 slice:

50 cal., .5 g. fat, 135 mg. sodium, and 13 g. carb

Orowheat Double Fiber

One slice:

70 cals; 1g fat; 6g fiber; 4g protein; 16g carb

anyone have a great harvest bread company by them? I'm ADDICTED to their oat bran bread.. so so good!

nutritional stats for each piece:

100 cals; 4g fat; 4g fiber; 5g protein; carb 24g

I know there are breads with a lot less calories in them (more than half!) but bread is one thing that is worth it to me- fills me up SO much better than the sara lee light bread all though that stuff is great for a light snack:)
