hello.

I've never been on here, this is my first time.

I switched to multigrain bread awhile ago in order to try and be more healthy and lose weight.

well, I'm just not sure if the type of multigrain bread I'm getting is actually helping me. It's Dempster's Wholegrain-Multigrain bread. if you search it I'm sure you can find it, but here are the nutrition facts anyway:

Can anyone tell me if this is good bread or is there something better out there that can help me lose weight? Because the calories of my bread are basically double the calories of the white bread my mom and brother eat, so I'm confused.

Thanks in advance!

That looks like plain bread. Not bad at all. You can get it with half the calories and double the fiber, though.
I ate Sara Lee Multigrain bread when I was cutting calories. It's 45 cals a slice, and has 3g of fiber a piece. Sara Lee has like 5 other types of light bread too (pumper-whatsits, rye, wheat...)
My current kind of bread is Roman Meal whole wheat bread and its the same as that pretty much, only less carbs because it's 70 cals a slice.

thanks! I'll have to try that out. :]

any other suggestions?

I use Sara Lee 45 Calorie & Delightful - I really like it - I havent found any other breadds that are that low in cal and tasty - good luck
