I really love sandwiches and peanut butter on toast, however, I have not tried any non-white breads that I have liked.
I do not like wheat at all. I have tried a couple of the grain bread and don't like the taste of those either. I only like white bread and I cannot stand that I am not acquiring a taste for non-white bread. I have acquired a taste for onions (one veggie which I would NOT eat before), why can't I find a bread that is better for me that I like the taste of.
I have almost completely eliminated bread from my food list because I don't like that I am eating so many carbs, calories and it has very little nutritional value.
I eat the thinly sliced Sunbeam bread which is only 130 calories for 2 slices (which I don't consider to be too bad compared to some of the grainy breads that are higher in calories but better nutrition).
So my favor to ask of you all is to suggest some breads for me that taste good toasted and are low cal. I feel lost because I can't find a bread I like. Makes me wish I could take a toaster to the store, take one piece of every loaf and give them all a try. Haha.

I can't suggest a particular brand of bread, since I always get regular whole wheat bread, but try looking for white whole wheat bread, which is whole wheat but is made to taste like white bread.
Ok - I went through all of the posts and this was not there so here goes.
Orawheat - Oatnut bread! I used to be the same as you - wouldn't eat anything other because I really hate dthe taste!
My mother-in-law got me to try this - it's an oat based bread - good for cholesterol lowering benefits.
However, it tastes nothing like white bread - it actually has oats in the middle of the bread but i would eat nothing other than peanut butter and jelly on this bread for lunch EVERYDAY!!
It is 100 calories a slice but you are getting great nutritional values from it.
If you have alreadyfound a bread you like I guess I am a little late but I really love this bread. I get it at Costco and my local grocery store.

Aunt Millie's makes a whole grain white bread, 120 calories for 2 slices and 5 grams of fiber!
