I have just eaten about 400 calories worth of cereal for breakfast. This sounds stupid, but now what!?!?!?! Iv'e let myself down again! The worst thing is, I don't even think I was hungry enough to eat breakfast! But I still did!!! So much for a fresh start && a new day. I am absolutly disgusted! Stupid fat idiot!!

Oh my goodness! i do this all the time! I eat so much cereal for Breakfast (like 3 servings!), then I feel super guilty for eating that much cereal that i feel as if i should not eat during lunch but i still do because i get very hungry by the time lunch rolls around!LOL! What kind of cereal did you eat? But seriously, don't sweat it, everyone has been there some time or another! So, just shake it off! Start off fresh tomorrow! Hope this helps!

How do you eat breakfast? Sometimes the smallest things can really make all the difference.. I have cereal 3-4 times a week for breakfast. My ritual is to measure out 1 cup into the bowl (I keep the measuring cup right there next to the box) and then close the box up with both a clip and the little cardboard flap.. then put it away. Then I add the milk and put the milk away. Then I take it someplace else to eat, and get out of the house as soon as possible after that. Or at least busy myself with something else.

HOWEVER, just to let you know, 400 cals is not really that bad of a breakfast. A lot of people eat that much. It really hasn't ruined your day if you don't let it! Please don't call yourself those names; they don't help. =(

hah ive been guilty of putting down a 1000 for cerial JUST for breakfast

=/

dont worry

i just need to give it up all together but its going to take alot to pry it from my hand =]

there's absolutely nothing wrong with a 400 calorie breakfast.  in fact, it's good.  going hungry in the morning is a set-up.
Your joking right? I always eat  that much for breakfast, that's the only way i won't be straving by noon. I usually have cereal or oatmeal and then fruit or yogurt like an hour later. Your 15 years old for God's sake, go have some fun!!!
Um, I always deliberately eat 400-500 calories for breakfast (out of about 1400 for the day). It wakes me up, gets me going, and keeps me satisfied for a good five hours until lunch. What's wrong with that?
400 calories is a perfectly reasonable breakfast.  You didn't let yourself down, you set yourself up for a good, solid day!

Now, take a few moments to think about what you are going to eat for the rest of the day and when so you stay within your goals.

Don't freak out over a little something unexpected.  If you were planning on a bigger dinner, instead you had a bigger breakfast. Now you fill up on salad for dinner with a smaller portion of protein or whatever else you were planning to have.

You can do it!

STOP

calling yourself such horrible names, please! Do you gain anything helpful when you call yourself such names. Listen, I know I've been there, and at some point made a very conscious decision not to undermine my efforts by calling myself names. And it does undermine yourself. You're a stunning young woman, sweetie, enjoy it!

You're much better off indulging in breakfast than a late night snack of 400 calories. And 400 calories is not unheard of, not at all.

Just stay within your calorie limits and you're fine.

Im really ashamed of how angry I was this time yesterday when I posted this! I'm so sorry. I have realised that having a breakfast of that size which I wasn't used to was a really good thing!! I was on a bouncy high all day and i managed to stay within my calorie intake & I even had a slice of cheesecake at work!! I really think i'm gunna be better in no time :D Thank you for all your comments, they were great support =]

<3**

Well, considering the fact that you have to maintain at least 1200 calories before going into starvation mode.. 400 calories is okay. If you split your calorie allowance into 3 meals it would account for 400 calories per meal anyways...

So 400 calories for breakfast is a good thing unless you're starving yourself...
