Is it healthier to eat cereals that may be high in calories but have lots of protein/fiber, as opposed to just low calorie cereals?
For example, something like Kashi or Grape Nuts vs. Special K
Whats the HEALTHIEST breakfast cereal?

oatmeal!!
I prefer whole grain total raisin bran it has lots of fiber so it's filling. Also if your gonna eat cereal and you take a daily vitamine why pay twice. Total and product 19 have most of the vitamines in a one a day vitamine already added.
There are lower calorie cereals that also have a lot of fiber in them... and I think those would be your best bet: Fiber One, SBDiet Whole Grain Crunch, Shreaded Wheat, etc. ... Special K doesn't fill me up at all, and because of all its sugar, it leaves me feeling tired and hungry.
I eat PC Blue Menu Bran Flakes. I eat a fruit after the cereal, so it makes a good lunch for me. I rather there be less perserved stuff in the cereal. Easier to know what it really is if you add it from outside. Like adding your own raisans in it, instead of having the rasian bran cereals.
I eat generic bran flakes with skim milk. I love the simplicity, they taste really good. Plus they have 5 g fiber per serving, and only 5 g sugar, which isn't bad compared to some other cereals. Plus it only has .5 g fat.
