breakfast "desserts" not exactly but so good they seem like it. what are yours??
Okay, so lately i've been having parfaits but made with cottage cheese instead of yogurt.
i chop up about a cup of strawberries, top it with 1/2 cup cottage cheese, and fiber one, sprinkle a little sugar on top for sweetness and it is OH MY GOSH delicious. like a breakfast dessert REALLY but it's quite healthy and balanced, not at all an actual "dessert"
it's only about 150 calories too...
1/2 serving fiber one :30
1 serving cottage cheese: 90
1/2 cup strawberries: 30
so, do you have any of these morning treats that are that good and feel sinful but aren't??

I also started to add a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder. I use it as a spread on couple of toasts.

1/2 c yogurt (i use dannon vanilla--100 calories)
1/2 c strawberries (25)
2 TB slivered almonds (85)
2 TB dry oats (18)
Layer all ingredients in a tall glass. Enjoy!
Total: 228 calories...delicious and nutritious!
I like to mix splenda or equal and cocoa powder with oatmeal.
Diet hot chocolate mix made by swiss miss is really good mixed with unsweetened almond breeze. I add 2 packs of equal because i like things really sweet.
Something called a "Good Morning Wrap"....and it sure does make a good morning..LOL! It's a tortilla with cottage cheese, crushed pineapple, honey, and granola. SO GOOD!
Or peanut butter and banana on a tortilla...anything with PB really...

Mine is a chocolate smoothie made with milk, cocoa powder, stevia or agave syrup and frozen bananas, with a tablespoon of creamy peanut butter whipped in.
A sliced banana on wholewheat toast with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Good for me and so so yummy!
I usually have porrage, but I'm sooo gonna try some of these ideas nomnomnom

One cup greek yogurt; one apple, diced; sprinkle of cinnamon; one packet splenda
Microwave 1/4 banana; mix with 1 TB almond butter; spread on toasted English muffin; sprinkle with cinnamon

I've made lots of variations on the recipe but here's my typical "cookie": 1/3 c rolled oats (don't use quick oats), 1 tbsp almond butter, 1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder, 1 tbsp ground flax, 1 small banana (mashed, ~1/2 c), a little cocoa powder, cinnamon and a bit of almond milk.

Carrot Cake Oatmeal (Carrots, Raisin, Coconut, Creamcheese...)
Caramel Apple Overnight Oats (Needs to soak overnight, and yes I'm serious with the 'caramel' flavour :p)

pumpkin pie oatmeal -- just mix in a little pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 cup canned pumpkin, 1 tbsp sweetener (I didn't have any Stevia when I did this so I just used honey) with oatmeal, really delicious and filling too. :) and plus, you get a vegetable serving!
pumpkin pie oats(oats,pumpkin, a few tbsp raisins, loads of spices, a sweetener(truvia) 1/2 a banana and toasted walnuts and pecans!
carrot cake oats(oats, carrot, sweetner and spices, raisins or dates, coconut flakes)
carob ginger oatmeal(oats, milk, 1 tbsp carob powder or cocoa, banana, ginger, crystallized/candied ginger and almonds)
almond butter, banana, jam, oats with shredded wheat on top and more almonds!
"caramelized banana oats" (oat bran, milk, a banana cooked into it so it is so sweet and soft! and cashew butter crunchy cashews and cinnamon.)
"ginger bread oats" oats (steel cut) milk, banana, molasses, brown sugar, dates and crystalized ginger, cinnamon,cloves and and nutmeg!
apple pie oats (oat bran, milk, cooked apple 1 cup chopped in the microwave, mix into oats and add a few tbsp of raisins, and top with almonds and honey!

"carrot cake oatmeal" my favorite! multi grain oats, or old fashion cooked in vanilla hemp milk, about 6 shredded baby carrots, 1-2 tbsp coconut flakes, cashews or pecans or walnuts(anything) or nut butter is amazing(preferable cashew for me) raisins or dates. and sometimes a tbsp of fage on top mixed with maple or honey to make a "frosting!" this is the best! :
oats mixed with carob powder and banana and nut butter= amazing!
hmmm havent had this in ages but i would put a fage honey twin pot on lowfat vans multigrain waffles with chopped hazelnuts, that was deliciously amazing!
ha i want to say more but Maya above me(aka my twin sister stole all of our oatmeal ideas lol) so i dont want to be repetitive ;)

My favourite is Cinnamon Banana Toast. Warm cinnamon-flavoured banana and toast with some cool plain yoghurt & a little honey on top... lovely
ive been eating this exact thing for the past several weeks! i love love love it! a peach diced up is excellent as well!
