Breakfast with Farmers Cheese
Farmers cheese = cottage cheese with most of the moisture removed.
Fast and simple breakfast.
One packet of strawbery & cream instant oatmeal prepared according to a package. Mix in Farmers cheese, play with proportions to get sweetness/protein ratio you want. I like to use Fat Free Farmers cheese. Spread it on a toast (or two) of whole grain bread. I love the alpine valley brand you can buy in Costco. Mmmm delicious.
A variation of this is to use PB2 or PB2 Chocolate. Not bad, but I like oatmeal version better. :)

Or you could make sirniki with it :). Mix an egg into the farmer's cheese (tvorog), add a tablespoon or two of farina (manka), 1 tsp (or more, if desired) sugar, roll in flour, and fry like pancakes on a non-stick pan (barely any oil required).
Jezebelina - in Romania, we call these sweet cheese fritters 'papanasi' (they are traditionally deep-dried and served with sour cream) - you can also add frozen fruit in the batter or add them on top, once they're done. Use raisins, rum essence, vanilla to spice them up.
It's easy to make farmer cheese and a good way to use milk that is going to go bad.
