what time should you have breakfast then?

what if i wake up at 7am, 10am, 12pm? an hour within waking up? what if im not hungry? and only eat 2/3 hours after waking up?

i eat within 30 minutes of waking up. im always famished and hungry by the time i get up ( im lucky)?
ive heard your meant to eat breakfast in the hour after you get up
I must do alot of running in my dreams or something lol - The only thing that stands between me and food in the morning is a shower - sometimes I even eat first though hehe. There is no way I could wait more than 1/2 hour until eating breakfast - I'm famished!!! 
Hmm.  I didn't know there was an optimal time.  why are you meant to eat it in the first hour after you get up?

I eat about an hour and a half after I get up.  First I work out and shower.
i guess i am lucky too. i am usuallly hungry right when wake up. i get up and have my shower, do makeup, and fix hair. then i eat. so i usually eat about an hour after waking up.
It doesn't seem to matter for me.  I'm retired so I'm very flexible.  Some mornings I have coffee early and breakfast later, some mornings I have it when I get up.

i know ppl say you should eat within an hour of waking up to rev up your metebolism and fuel your body for the day but if your not hungry i've never really seen the point in forcing yourself to eat!  i've only started to wake up hugry actually (i think cos i dont' eat after 7pm anymore) but i rarely used to eat breakfast adn still lost weight - i just had it when i was hungry...

I think you can pay to much attention to waht "they" say but really, listen to your body!!
i totally agree with you Sarah! i read today, that you must ignore the diet and everything you know and listen to your body! we have drilled ourselves into machines to eat at meatimes instead of listening to when our bodies are hungry!
Listen to your body yes, but some ppl stuff up their bodies and you can no logner trust them (esp when you have a powerful mind and are dieting and you have the mentaility food = bad. These people dont get hungry, eat less, and the cycle continues)

I'd say have SOMETHING withint 30 misn of waking. Even if its just a cup od green tea or lemon juice with wate.r THis way your body wakes up and if you need food, will tell you.
i heard this thing were your body isnt hunrgy for like 1.5-3 hours after waking, but more or less, I believe that you just eat when you wake up and how you feel.

if i wake up and go to the gym, I'll have a cup of juice, a strawberry or a handful of cereal on my way...

other days i just eat when i feel like it.
