only if i eat loads of sugary food before bed
breakfast = breaking a fast

you should be hungry.
I'm NEVER hungry in the morning...but maybe that's because I'm a go-to-bed-late-and-sleep-in-late kind of person.  If it was up to me, breakfast would be around 2-3pm.  However, I do notice that if I eat too long before I go to bed, I'm hungry in the morning.  Also, sleep deprivation makes me ravenous!  Not enough to make me ease off the caffeine though!!
is it bad to eat the same thing for breakfast every single day or should i switch what i have for breakfast every once in a while? why?
God, yes.  I wake up FAMISHED every.  single.  morning.  Less famished if I ate a big, late dinner, but still hungry.  STARVING if I didn't.

It's so annoying because my boyfriend has destroyed his metabolism and doesn't eat until he's been up for HOURS.  But honestly?  My way is better.  Rationally?  I know that the 300+ calories I eat for my post-workout (and post-preworkout fruit) breakfast is probablt too little.  But it's so hard to eat when the guy I live with won't eat a bite for hours without feeling like a pig.

Seriously, though, eating breakfast will jump-start your metabolism and tell your body to expect food and burn it off.  Letting it simmer hungry will tell it to store whatever it gets because who knows when it will eat again.  Eat enough breakfast that the hunger subsides.  Stay away from total junk and then eat WHATEVER it takes to make the hunger go away.  You'll feel better for it later.  (honestly, upping my breakfast intake has helped with bloating issues SO MUCH if you're prone to the same)
i get pretty hungry at breakfast, too. so i have an apple and a bowl of oatmeal and then i'm just fine for a few hours~
well, YEAH! you haven't eaten since the night before! How long do you sleep? that's prbably the LONGEST time your body goes without food!

I'd reccomend carbs and protein to start the morning, my good friends :) ENERGY!!

it's the best time for dessert (as weird as it sounds) because tTAT way, you have all day to work it off, insteadof going to bed bloated after a big dinner.
ice coffee with cappucino ice cream or cheesecake (but only on my naughtty days :P)
and change up breakfast every once in a while, DEFINATELY! Variety is the SPICE of life! Plus, your body needs a way to get ALL its nutrients!
ugh im always starving in the morning around 7 A.M and the problem is that i get less than 7 hours of sleep because my hunger wakes me up.
Up untill about 3 weeks ago, i NEVER ate breakfast, but i recently started to force myself to eat and i now i wake up not starving but looking forward to eating my bowl of cereal. Its a nice feeling actually
LOL thank God! I was like "why is my stomach grumbling .. all i did was sleep! haha =P ya i guess it does make sense i mean, the night is long, and once your body wakes up, it sure wants some fuel to keep it going! and hey, why not indulge and have a cookie while you're at it .. i mean, it will give you energy hehe AND you can do something to work it off because you have ALL day!
if you don't eat enough the night before, you'll probably also wake up n the middle of the night from hunger. hence, the good ol' 12 snack, the munchies. try having something small to "send you off to bed" so as not to wake up every morning with the need to consume the entire contents of your fridge.
I always want to be hungry but, unless i oversleep VERY late, I rarely am.
