My combos are:

1.) Fiber one bar (140 cals) + Lite n' Fit Yogurt Banana Stawberry (60 cals)

2.) Thomas English muffin Light (100 cals) + 1tblsp PB (90-100 cals)

3.) 1.5 cup of Special K Red Berries (about 150 cals) + .25 cup 2% milk (40-50 cals)

If I'm still hungry I'll have like 6oz of Chocolate soy milk, or original rice milk.

I don't really like normal breakfast foods, eggs give me tummy aches.  Some people do egg whites and cheese, which is really low in cals.

Carley is right in that this should be in the food section.

She isn't right to cuss at you like that however, and I agree that was out of line.

HOWEVER, you need to be eating at least 1800 calories a day in order to keep your body HEALTHY and your metabolism up.

You need to face the facts that by only eating 700-800 calories a day, you are destroying your body from the inside out. By not getting proper nutrition, you may be staying thin, but your hair, skin and nails will suffer, as will your health, and everything else will eventually start to fall apart.

Take care of your body NOW, while you're young, and it will thank you for it, by remaining healthy, strong, and slim.

My breakfast is a nice bowl of oatmeal (1/2 dry for 150 cals) with 1/4 cup pumpkin mixed in (20 cals) and then 1/2 cup cottage cheese on the side (70 cals) = 240 cals and very filling!  (especially if you mix it with more than 8 oz of water!)

Allright, I'll play nice. Is there a reason you like breakfast under 250 calories (besides your ED?)? Is it your fear of food or are you trying the mini meal approach?

If you could just eat 6 300 calorie meals/day you will maintain your weight, boost your metabolism, not lose your period, your hair, your nails & your life & will be better, stronger & healthier for it. Add a couple more low calorie meals into your diet & you will see a HUGE difference in how you feel.

I usually start my day like this:

1/4 cup Oats (37 calories)

1 Tbsp Peanut butter (96 calories)

1 banana (105 calories)

Whole Milk in my coffee (150 calories)

Total: 388

It really gives me the boost I need to stick with my a.m. cardio.

Have you tried egg white omelets? They are pretty quick and easy and you can change what's in them at any time for some variety. They are really low calorie (because there are no yolks) and if you fill them with veggies and top it with half ounce of shredded cheese, and a 1/4 cup of salsa it fills you up and keeps you satieted for a long time.

I use 2-3 large egg whites.

1/4 cup of each (chopped): broccoli (or asparagus), green pepper, onion and mushroom

1/2 ounce of Kraft shredded mozza/cheddar mix

1/4 cup of chunky salsa

i must of missed something because i don't see what all the fuss is about...

anyway, my typical breakfast (which i'm actually a little bored of but i eat it like everyday) is a mini whole wheat bagel with a morninstar veggie sausage and slice of 2% american cheese... i like it because i can bring it to work and heat it up... and even if your not a vegetarian i strongly suggest giving the sausage a shot! i know a lot of meateaters who have started eating these because they taste quite good and are MUCH better for you than regular sausage...  (i think that equals about 300 calories off the top of my head)

or a light wheat english muffin with jelly and peanut butter with some fruit is a good meal too that will also fill you up...

lastly i'll have oatmeal... i usually have 2 of those instant packets and i add raisons to them and have a piece of fruit on the side.

I eat an apple

and

1 peice of larger wheat toast w/ tsp of strawberry jelly and 2 slices of turkey bacon

or a 1 cup of special K with skim milk and a banana

I've been doing a Fiber One bar (140 calories) and a yogurt or piece of fruit because that's really fast.  But here's another recipe I want to try that looks good and can be made in advance and warmed up:

Sausage & Cheese Breakfast Cups
(reportedly from the South Beach Diet Cookbook)
6 servings
180 calories each according to CC recipe analyzer

4 oz turkey sausage or turkey bacon
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1/4 onion, chopped
5 large eggs or 1 1/4 cups egg substitute (i.e., Egg Beaters)
1 can sliced mushrooms (12 ounces) (I think I'd use fresh, myself)
1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese (2 oz)

Preheat oven to 325.  Coat a 6 cup nonstick muffin pan with cooking spray or line with paper baking cups.

In a medium nonstick skillet, cook sausage, onions and pepper until sausage is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.  Stir mixture and cool sllightly.  Stir in eggs and mushrooms (or if using fresh mushrooms, you would saute them at the beginning with the rest of the veggies).

Evenly divide into 6 muffin cups.  Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake 20 minutes or until egg is set.

Supposedly these little egg muffins can be frozen or refrigerated and warmed in the microwave for a quick grab and go filled with protein.

Enjoy!

Oh PS - you could easily sub or delete veggies to your preference.
digigirl- that sounds delicious!  (i'll be subbing veggie sausage though) thanks!
oooooh, mine is simple and so delicious. I take 2 slices of nickle's light 35 calorie bread (70 cals total) toasted... add a slice of 2% american cheese... then use the egg beaters that have veggies in em!! Normally I double the serving of beaters because they are only 30 calories/per quarter cup. Sooo.... bread=70 cheese=50 egg beaters=60 TOTAL is 180 calories. Or else I will put it on a 100 calorie english muffin, which adds another 30 calories :-)

I find I do better if I have my high calorie meals early, so my typical breakfast is about 455 calories (whole grain english muffin with 2 Tbsp real peanut butter, a banana and a cup of tea with very little sugar).  That takes me to lunch so I don't have to snack in the morning at all.  If my first meal doesn't have enough calories I'm miserable and hungry all day, and more prone to eating stuff I shouldn't.  In strawberry season I change out the peanut butter for yogurt cheese (low fat plain yogurt drained of liquid so it's thick and spreadable) topped with strawberries as often as I can.  mmmmmm

I just wanted to say that you look AMAZING! How much weight have you lost? Your face looks completely different!
I have 3/4 to 1 cup of fat free yogurt (peach is best!), 1/2 cup of frozen berries thawed, and then I mix in 1/3 to 1/2 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch.  Don't mix in the cereal until you're eating it or it gets soft.

Hi. I'm often lazy or hurried in the morning so I often eat a piece of fruit (oranges & asain pears are my faves) plus either cottage cheese or low fat yogurt. If I'm in a real rush, I'll just grab a slimfast. (gotta love the chocolate & mocha)

Both of those are fast and have protien which helps you last longer.

I find taking slim fast vin shake (i use the powder) and put it on my grape nuts is fantastic. they dont need sugar and who the hell can drink just plain slim fast. I know it is still cereal . Or i eat left overs from dinner. as long as you eat something

in the morning.

you dont NEED a low cal breakfast. you need high-cal or normal-cal.

EAT.
