Okay, now Im eating 800-1150 cals a day, tomorrow I will have 1350 at very least, rather 1500. 1350 is my BMR. I have to eat a breakfast high in calories, if I dont, I will have no chances to eat up my calories. I eat breakfast at 6 AM, and with that I must keep going until 3:30 PM. I will have 1-2 slices of bread and some salad at school though, but that wont be more than 200 cals.
How many calories should I have then? 300? 500? Something in between? I usually eat no more than 450-550 calories (as small-ish snacks throughout the evening) after I come home from school. Would these sound like good breakfast options to you?
1. 1 cup oatmeal (220 cal), 1 banana chopped (110) =340 calories
2. 1 cup cereal (115) with one cup of milk (90), 1 slice of toast with a slice of turkey and butter on 100) =305
3. A sandwich: 2 slices of toast (150) with 2 fried egg whites (40), 1 slice of cheese (35) and 2 slices of turkey (10), tomato, cucumber and salad (20?), some dressings (10-40), spices = somewhere around 255-305 calories
4. 2x 1 slice of toast with a slice of turkey and butter on (2x 100), yogurt (100) =300
I used to love chocolate milk, haven't drank it (or milk either) in months... Would it be a fairly good way to bring up the calories? I have no peanut butter or nuts in the house, so those options can be ditched.
I'd also suggest you take more to school than "1-2 slices of bread and some salad". Pack a lunch the night before with some pieces of fruit, a yoghurt, a cereal bar.... and put some roast beef or ham and some mayonnaise plus the salad in the sandwich. You can't think straight if you're hungry. Best of luck
I would suggest having more protein in 1, but they all look good.
i doubt 1350 is your bmr. 800-1150 is NOT enough calories. maybe you're confusing the burn meter with the eat meter? anyways..
those breakfast ideas sound pretty good to me, just increase your calories for your own health, okay? :)
message me if you need help calculating how much you need and stuff, i'll reply as quickly as i can.
My BMR is really 1350. So that's what I burn at least no matter what? That I could always eat that much? And is RMR the same as Sedentary burn rate? (Which is 1750 in my case)
