I just can't seem to think of many healthy foods that sound good for breakfast. What do you guys eat? I would love some suggestions.

FF plain yogurt with fruit, cinnamon, and splenda if needed.
Whole grain toast or english muffin with 1/2 tbsp. natural peanut butter
Omelet with mixed veggies, one whole egg, and one or two egg whites, lf cheese.
Oatmeal with fruit, milk, 2 tbsp chopped nuts, and cinnamon or nutmeg
FF cottage cheese
Kashi cereals

i'm a breakfast lover and try to incorporate all the food groups in my daily breakfasts.

i find that eating a whole grapefruit with breakfast REALLY fills me up, if you don't add sugar on top. i always try to have a grapefruit, unless we're out - and then i'll have an apple or a banana.

i also need alot of protein to fill me up, so i often make omelettes that consist of 1 or 2 whole eggs (depends how hungry i am) and 2 whites (63g). i usually fry it in a pan; but i don't add butter, oil or anything so it's not really fried.

then, i have a glass of almond milk or a yogurt. gotta get that calcium!

and sometimes if i know i need the calories or i'm just really hungry, i'll add in a serving of whole-grain cereal, a slice of whole-grain bread or a homemade muffin.

for example; my breakfast plan for today is:

  • organic whole-milk yobaby! banana yogurt
  • 1 mini homemade oatmeal applesauce muffin
  • an omelette with 1 whole egg and 2 whites
  • a whole grapefruit

and that's only 480 calories. i consume around 1500 a day, so i have tons of calories left for lunch, a snack and dinner. :)

I have either of these:

  • poached or fried (in xvoo) egg atop 4-5 oz sauteed spinach with shallot (agin, in xvoo)
  • 1/2 toasted bagel with Tofutti Cream Cheese substitute
  • 1 cup Raisin & Nut Granol with 1/2 cup Silk Plain Soymilk
  • 1 cup lowfat yogurt or kefir sweetened with stevia, rounded tbsp ground flax seeds & sprinkles of granola or half a banana

one of there is ALWAYS accompanied by 2 cups of coffee with 1/2 tsp of agave nectar and a good amount of Silk Soy Creamer.  i detest black coffee

I rarely deviate from this.  Breakfast has never been my favorite meal, but I need it to work out in the mornings.

i used to have the same problem.  breakfast was always my hardest obstacle, until i found so many different things that i like to eat FOR breakfast.  now the hardest part is choosing WHAT to eat every morning.

kellogg's nutri grain whole wheat waffles.  (2 waffles=1 serving)
i LOVE eggs cooked over easy with whole wheat toast.  (i get the nature's own double fiber whole wheat bread.  5 grams of fiber in one slice!!)
peanut butter and banana sandwiches on whole wheat bread
whole wheat bagels with cream cheese and strawberry preserves
yogurt
fruit
cereal with bananas
turkey bacon, eggs, plantains, and whole wheat toast

i hope this helps you.  i've even made it a habit to get up like an hour early so i can decide on breakfast and then MAKE breakfast.  it's often the last thing on my mind before i go to sleep!!
