Breakfast Muffins or Cookies?
Does anyone know of any recipes that possibly consist of whole wheat flour, bran, and oats?
Or any healthy breakfast muffin/cookie recipes?
I don't have any really great recipes, but I swear by Vitalicious Vitamuffins and Vitatops for breakfast and snacks - you HAVE to check them out! They're only 100 cal each and chock full of healthy stuff.......and soooo yummy :-) If you're interested in baking them yourself, they even sell their mixes.
Some of my favourite muffin recipes (the last one isn't mine):

These are all full fat recipes as I use muffins as a source of healthy fats. If you wanted to lower the calories, you could probably use fruit puree instead of some/all of the oil in the recipes. (As awful as it sounds to me, mashed banana instead of oil in the chocolate chip pecan muffins would probably appeal to anyone who likes banana baked goods.)
I have made these several times and really like them:

Go to www.AllRecipes.com and search for recipes by inputting your desired foods and recipe type. Most of the time, if they have a recipe, it will also have the nutritional information as well.
