Breakfast, my new enemy!

Quote  |  Reply

Okay, (Yes another forum post, I swear this is the last *shifty eyes*)Cool

Last week, I haven't eaten any breakfast, ate only 1200 calories and felt full all day. I was eating very healthy, and I felt great! I woke up feeling awesome throughout the day, no binges, no cravings..yadda yadda yadda.

This week, I am eating breakfast, it sucks because I am craving food, binging, and being all bloated and stuff. Eating way more calories than what I am supposed to. (1300-1500, grams of carbs are around 200)

I know I recently put up a post about me eating too many carbs, and yes I got reassurance that I am not eating too much (thanks guys).

Has this happened to anyone? Does anyone here at all skip breakfast? I was reading on diet myths, and you DON'T have to eat breafast (I wish I had the link, I would show it to everyone here lol) Anyways.

I can't function without breakfast.  If I don't have it my stomach is grumbling and I'm sooo hungry by 9 - 10am.

I like to have my main meal earlier in the day, as opposed to suppertime, because then I have more time to burn it off.

Amber.  What are your stats?  Are you still a teen?

I'm asking because 1200 calories is at the very minimum that you as a female should be eating.  If you are a teen, then the minimum is actually 1500.  So that means that it is possible that when you are eating breakfast and hitting closer to 1300-1500,  you might actually be eating what you are supposed to be eating.

It's what you are eating! I found with bread/sugar products I was hungry all day - all protein meals or oatmeal I was not hungry. Your body is telling you what to eat and when to NOT eat - listen to it!

Hello! I am 19 years old, caloriecount is telling me to eat at least 1200. I eat now 1200-1400 everyday. I mix it up. My stats, 121lbs 5'3'', trying to lose some weight because I know I would love my body again :).

I find that with bread, I just CRAVE more bread. I am trying to bring in more proteins, I hid my bread away (usually out in the bag) and I do have oatmeal that I am trying to eat :)

You won't supress your hunger any better with protein than with carbs.  I don't know if you'll believe it, but fat will keep you full much better.  Load on the bacon and eggs.
