What did YOU have for breakfast today?
I have seen lots of 'What did you eat today', 'what did you have for lunch today', ect....but I have never seen a breakfast one. I think this is a great way to try new foods and get other ideas.
For starters, this is what I had:
- Oatmeal with half a banana, Cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- Half a kiwi;
- Raspberries;
- Raisins;
- Strawberries;
- Unsalted cashews;
- and raw almonds.
What did YOU have today?
I had the same as I usually have.....50g of Tesco "healthy living" muesli with s/skimmed milk, and a banana, with a large coffee....approx 300 kcals and keeps me going to lunchtime. I occasionally substitute the muesli for a bowl of Special K
2 kashi golean strawberry flax waffles with sugar free syrup and a banana.
I'm eating breakfast right now! A bowl of oatmeal with half a cup of fresh strawberries and some splenda! :-)
3 boiled eggs
Medium Sweet potatoe
Tbsp Blue Bonnet light stick
Dash of salt
Ended up being like...385 calories in all?
- egg, cheese and turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread
- a blueberry yogurt mixed with a sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries and bran cereal

Activia fat-free Vanilla yogurt with All Bran buds and a little Kashi granola on top.. yumm.... Oh and a plum!!
- 2 eggs (with salt, pepper & chives) microwaved for 1:45 min
- 1 whole wheat english muffin with 1 tsp whipped butter
- 1 apple
- Coffee!!!
- Scrambled egg whites seasoned with salt and peppers
- Light wheat toast topped with f.f cream cheese and s.f blueberry jam
Fage 0% greek yogurt with Splenda, cinnamon and a banana
Usually eat small breakfast before swimming..
2 Blueberry waffles w/ peanut butter and syrup, a blueberry yogurt
I eat the same breakfast every week day lol ![]()
1/2 cup oatmeal with raisins, splenda brown sugar blend, LOTS of cinnamon and a splash of skim milk.
I had a cup of the original Kashi GoLean cereal (not as good as Crunch!) with milk. I also had some applesauce, and a green tea.
gosh, unless i was having a midmorning snack like a minute later, id be STARVED w/ some of these bfasts!

Thomas' Fruit+Nut bagel spread w/ PB and a cup of fruit yogurt
"Breakfast Sandwich": made with two slices of whole wheat toast, a sunny side up egg plus egg whites and topped with smoked salmon. Mmm.. yolky goodness. With an apple on the side.
Today I had 2 morningstar farms veggie sausage links, 2 pieces of light whole grain toast with sugar free blueberry jam and scrambled egg whites
oatmeal (1/2 cup dry with water) and 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese mixed with cinnamon and 1 cup strawberries, and, of course, coffee =P
Same thing I have pretty much every morning- oatmeal with 1 TBS each milled flaxseed and dark cocoa powder and lots of sweetner, and a big cup of coffee! :-) I really need to branch out and do something different every once and a while...Some of these ideas sound good!
YUMMM-i have off on Fridays during the summer!!

Pre-run: dried fruit and coffee.
Just now: a slice of home made banana bread, oats w/ pumpkin, soy ice cream, soy milk, peanut butter and granola!
oh and a tiny piece of frozen banana
One of those Quaker instant oatmeal things with fruit, made with skim milk.
My breakfast every workday.
