I have seen lots of 'What did you eat today', 'what did you have for lunch today', ect....but I have never seen a breakfast one. I think this is a great way to try new foods and get other ideas.

For starters, this is what I had:

  • Oatmeal with half a banana, Cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • Half a kiwi;
  • Raspberries;
  • Raisins;
  • Strawberries;
  • Unsalted cashews;
  • and raw almonds.

What did YOU have today?

Homemade blueberry-flax pancakes with a glass of skim milk.

Quick cooking steel cut oats mixed with with fat free cottage cheese, unsweetened cocoa and couple packets of stevia to sweeten it.

UD

2 slices of extra thin homemade white bread with sunflower seed butter.

I made my yummy banana almond butter oatmeal today BUT I didnt end up eating it cos I found nutella in my cupboard woohoo! and had it 2 slices of WG toast with a glass of milk. Mmmm nutella, am I the only one who can eat a full jar and still want more? :P

 MMM...nutella....I've only had it once, but I loved it and I can eat a whole jar of PB and still want more, so I assume I could with nutella too!

Just a bowl of raisin bran with milk and some coffee....boring! I am at my parents house, so there wasn't much to choose from.

I had a "bigger" breakfast than normal on account of it being a holiday and my being bored. Lol.

French toast (with Sara Lee's 45 cal./slice bread), 4 egg whites (two for french toast, two for side), topped with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Coffee w/fat free creamer. Good, big breakfast but with only 246 calories!

Two slices of toast, with a bit of margarine and jelly, tiny slice banana bread. Bowl of granola with soy milk and 1c frozen berries.

Made my favorite brekkie sandwich (and a treat I only get on weekends) with 2 slices whole wheat toast (sara lee 45 cal), 1 wedge laughing cow garlic and herb cheese spread on both slices, "scrambled" an egg in the microwave with a splash of milk (2%) and some pepper and 2 slices morningstar farms veggie bacon.  All with a big mug of english breakfast tea with another splash of milk and a tsp of sugar.  Comes to 303 calories.  A big breakfast for me to be sure, but with all the protein it "lasts" for a long time.

My breakfast before my swim meet (which we won!!!!):

1/2 cup cottage cheese (90 calories) with cinnamon.  1/2 cup fiber one cereal (60 with 1/2 cup 1% milk (50).  Also a pear (80) = 280 calories

idk, i do larger breakfasts-

Bagel 1/2 with chocolate PB, 1/2 w/ cinnimin raisin PB

1 cup fruit yogurt

1 large apple

total-a little over 600

Today I had super yummy Oatmeal made with wholegrain oats, a splash of milk, a dash of splenda, a few tbs of kelloggs all bran fiber plus for a bit of crunch and finally I stirred it all together with a tbs PB it was heavenly! :P

Blend 1/2 cup egg whites, 50 grams oats, pumpkin spice, stevia, and water. Cook in the microwave for 2.5 minutes (or until solid).

Somewhat of a pumpkin souffle. It's very low calorie, high protein, filling, healthy and I love it! Think it comes in somewhere below 200 calories.

Two veggie sausages, a piece of cinnamon toast, coffee.

Then later in the morning, 1/3 c oat bran cooked with 1 c chai and half an apple, 1/3 c pumpkin and soy milk added, 15 almonds.

a sliced frozen banana + plain yogurt + homemade peanut butter honey granola

  • oats
  • cottage cheese
  • apple
  • peanut butter

Yum!

I was boring lol. I had oatmeal with splenda and cinnamon and scrambled egg whites with red hot lol

Two veggie sausages, coffee, choco-raspberry oats(oats cooked in chocolate raspberry tea, with cocoa powder, frozen berries, T pb, and soy milk)
