I have seen lots of 'What did you eat today', 'what did you have for lunch today', ect....but I have never seen a breakfast one. I think this is a great way to try new foods and get other ideas.

For starters, this is what I had:

  • Oatmeal with half a banana, Cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • Half a kiwi;
  • Raspberries;
  • Raisins;
  • Strawberries;
  • Unsalted cashews;
  • and raw almonds.

What did YOU have today?

1/4 cup oatmeal with 3/4 cup milk + vanilla yogurt
topped with 1.5 tbsp flax seeds and about 6 strawberries and half a banana.

I had a whole wheat English muffin with soy nut butter, plain oatmeal with canned pumpkin and cinnamon mixed in, a scrambled egg, and a nectarine. :)

2 strawberry poptarts, unfrosted

bowl of steel cut oatmeal and a big apple =)

2 scrambled egg whites and turkey sausage on whole wheat toast, 3/4 cup of total whole grain cereal (dry - I hate milk) and tea with lemon and one Equal. 361 calories -- grade B+

Three scrambled egg whites with ketchup. Bowl of cheerios and 1% milk, coffee with creamer.
Thick piece of fruit and nut bread, toasted, LF fresh ricotta mixed with splenda and vanilla, spread thickly, topped with blueberries and starberries until they fell off. And soy milk on the side. My new love

Dessert Tortilla Wrap: Sooooo goood!!! Spread jam all over it, put on frozen sliced bananas, topped with cottage cheese, flax, and drizzled with a bit of chocolate sauce.
1/4 cucumber
1/2 cup milk

Yesterday-

1 deep chocolate vitamuffin

1 glass of organic milk

Today-

1 cup of [nature valley] oats&honey granola cereal

1 cup of [silk] plain soy milk

Tomorrow-

2 homemade cinnamon maple french toasts[1/2 cup plain soy milk, 3 tbs. sugar free maple syrup, 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, and 2 slices of whole grain bread]

1 cup of [silk] plain soy milk

Heated kidney beans topped with chopped lettuce, sliced tomato, and a tbsp. of salsa! REALLY GOOD!

1 whole egg + 2 egg whites scrambled with 1/4 cup of sweet peppers and another 1/4 cup of tomatos.
1 slice of w/w bread
20oz water!

I usually hate seasonings but I needed something to spice up my eggs to make it different. I was getting bored with the plain ol' eggs alone. Next time I'm gonna put some onions in there! It gives me an extra serving of veggies for the dayyyy

(Not breakfast food at all!)

Turnip, Carrots, Cauliflower, Peas. Topped with smoked salmon & a salsa sause!
