I have seen lots of 'What did you eat today', 'what did you have for lunch today', ect....but I have never seen a breakfast one. I think this is a great way to try new foods and get other ideas.

For starters, this is what I had:

  • Oatmeal with half a banana, Cinnamon, and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract;
  • Half a kiwi;
  • Raspberries;
  • Raisins;
  • Strawberries;
  • Unsalted cashews;
  • and raw almonds.

What did YOU have today?

Black coffee and a Smart Ones english muffin breakfast sandwich. Not the greatest but I was in a hurry.

  • Tuna salad
  • Yellow grits
  • coke zero

About 600 cals. Haha

Def. not the healthiest...but it was filling and very much enjoyed. Dont feel at all guilty about it.

1 C oatmeal cooked in 1 container of Atkins chocolate fudge protein drink with 1 T creamy peanut butter and 2 T Ovaltine mixed in. Thin after cooking with 1/4 C almond milk.

Makes one big bowl of chocolatey goodness :) and tons of protein

Especially great for TTOM

slice of whole grain bread, toasted until crisp, ripped up...dipped into spicy humous that had a bit of wheat germ stirred in.

blueberry white tea, with honey

 almonds, a few cinnamon hearts.

Quaker Banana Bread instant oatmeal (trying to get through it), mixed with oat bran and cottage cheese (big curd I think). I know it sounds weird, but tasted pretty good, and actually kept me full for longer then other stuff I eat.

Two Eggs fried, Fried potatoes, and flax seed waffles. Washed down with black coffee. Most days its just eggs and toast but my wife wanted something special today. I find its easier to eat a high calorie breakfast and manage the rest of your day after that. I eat a small lunch and a moderate dinner and drink a lot of fluids. Works for me.

Egg plus egg whites, cooked in the microwave, topped with a piece of smoked salmon in between two slices of whole wheat toast. And a pear on the side.

  • Yoplait Light fat free Boston Cream Pie (yum)
  • a large banana
  • a 1/2 mug of tea made with cream and equal
  • a vitamin water

Idk....but for some reason this doesnt keep me full too long. Should I add or take away something? Cuz Im normally eating another fruit like 2 hours after this.

I had natures valley granola bars -Oats and Honey

Cup of Coffee w/ Cream and Sugar...bad.

Few Rice Cake snacks

Santana- I understand how you don't get full. I don't either when I eat that. I would add a piece of whole grain bread into that or maybe just one boiled egg. I would have to eat something else with that as well. Hoep this helps.

  • Cottage cheese
  • Peanut butter
  • Apple
  • Banana

1 cup of cottage cheese

2 Nature's Path Organic Maple Cinnamon Waffles

I toasted and dipped them in SF Syrup with:

SF Grape Jam

Fage mixed with cinnamon and stevia in the raw sweetner

YUMMY!

yesterday-2 slices WW bread w/ PB, yogurt, an apple

today-big bagel w/ PB on 1/2, butter on 1/2, yogurt, apple

Idk if the counts for breakfast but I just ate one serving of cheddar jalapeno cheetos crunchy.  But its only 5:30 in the am so I'll probably make some oatmeal later on.  My normal breakfast included 1/2 cup oatmeal made with water.
