I have huge stretch marks all over the tops of my boobs, and have had them pretty much since puberty, which started at 11-12. Currently 18 and a 36DD. I know other girls who are heavier than me, with maybe even bigger breasts, and don't even have one stretch mark. Just-- wtf really? I haven't grown any for years, in fact I've lost weight over the past 1 or 2, and they aren't going away in the slightest. What chance do I have of them going away, with or without weight loss? (I plan on another 25..)
they're noticable because you LOST weight. happened to me too. eventually mine have slightly faded, but they're still a little noticeable and make my boobs look a little wrinkly sometimes :( oh well. i just try not to wear such revealing necklines. when i go out to parties or places where i wear sexier clothes, i brush a light dusting of powder bronzer over my chest. it really helps!
Bronzer trick, must tuck that away for future use.
The good news is that breasts are almost universally loved and I've been told that the stretch marks are no big deal.
The bad news is that stretch mark prone skin seems to be something you inherit (like varicose veins), so some of us get them, and lucky others don't.
I still get a bit sick of mine sometimes, but they have faded a bit (mine are from when I had kids).
Mine are from kids too. I got 'em on my titties and my thighs... sexy! They don't go away but bronzer works for me too (& translucent powder). What's worse for me is the sag... there's no cure for that! I feel like a used heffer!
I've had them since i was young too even before I lost weight, and had them when I was about your age. and on my hips. I heard hormones can affect weather or not you get them but i don't know for sure.
anyway, I'm just a 34C and I stil got 'em. I think it's because they grew so fast. I had a training bra at the end of 5th grade and a 36B at the start of 6th grade. it was a little awkward.
Here's some good news, They've faded alot and are barely noticable now that i'm 21. Your's will fade too probably
I too have these annoying stretch marks. Makes me very self conscious and jealous of other girls who can wear the cute tanks that might show some cleavage.
I'm afraid you have no chance of them going away- stretch marks are permanent. They are purple at first and fade to silvery white but that is as gone as they ever get.
I have stretch marks on my butt and hips from growing very quickly when I was 10- 12 years old- I am now 32 and they are still there. None of us will ever be perfect, many of us have stretch marks, we just have to learn to live with them. I hardly think about mine at all.
I'm barely a B-cup and I've had them since puberty as well. I noticed that they faded significantly when I entered my early twenties too. The bronzer trick works well, but I prefer a little powder foundation instead. Lighter on top, bronzer in the cleavage, makes 'em look perfect and fabulous.
I heard a guy once say he was more than happy to see stretch marks on a girl because he associated stretch marks with large breasts. I can see not liking to see them on yourself, but i imagine if I saw a woman with double Ds I doubt I'd being thinking about her stretch marks, specially if I was male.
If they are red they will fade some, but silvery white is the best they get when it comes to fading.
I only lost 30 lbs and am not considered overweight by any means but even I have them unfortunately because I lost so much breast tissue. What really helps is exercise. Working out your pecs and doing push ups really helps that region. I also have been putting a lotion with vitamin E on them almost daily and that really seems to help tighten the area up a bit. Nivea brand works great.
