I do the butterfly bars at the gym and also girlie style push-ups.

Any other advise? I would love to know more myself.

I heard that doing push ups help, not sure how true it is, just started doing them lol
good luck

oh for those perky little boobs!!

I am sure ther are exercises, perhaps some one will help you there.

MIne are beyond any help, they are already on the downhill slope!!

ok I do one!!!
lay on your back- arms to the side, weights in hand. slight bend in the arm and then bring the weights together in the air above your chest.does that make sense? Then you go back down. This was painful the first couple of times- felt like I was hit by a Mac truck! It gets better!
Ok I'm going to try those idea's at the gym tonight I just want to have perky boobies again I mean I'm only 25 I might as well have while I can LOL :) Mom is a heavy woman and she's a 44 DD and I know the pain she goes through and I dont want that for my self. pluss they make cuter bra's in smaller sizes well not too small but you know what I mean :)
yes slappy, I love those :) I think they are called butterflies, but I'm not sure :) Pushups also help, anything that builds the chest is good for support for the breast, but nothing is going to make the breast itself firmer though.

Another thing to remember is the wonder of a good bra :). Get one that fits you properly, has a good underwire and that should put things back where they belong ;) ah the joys of nursing a baby, everything decides to head south LoL.

seriously no kidding massage ur boobs...
like push them in and up gently in circles...
and there are boob firming cream too!!
But does the massaging and creams really work, also a good bra is a good thing but once the bra comes of the real me still feels saggy.:)
Yes slappy....those are butterflies. Just a different posture, same principal. Great idea for those who don't have access to the gym!

In my opinion you are not going to do anything for your breast other than improve the muscle behind it. So sorry for those that are sagging, might not be of any help, but work out that muscle anyways, it will also make your arm pits look pretty.
excuse me....I am reminded of my mother here....

arm pits are for boys
women have underarms

:)
darn and I was just having a mental image of telling people how hard I had to work to have such fabulous arm pits ;) LoL.

I hear what you are saying though :) plus I would think that better muscle tone could help to prevent further sagging just because the muscle could actually support the weight better. don't know, would be interesting to look into a little further.

As for the firming cream, well I guess it couldn't hurt, at least you'd have soft skin ;) hehe that reminds me of a funny story my mom told me though.

We were looking at some of this stuff that you can use to "fill in" wrinkles things of this nature and she was telling me people should just use preparation H because it would have the same effect and be much less expensive... she's a nurse LoL so I got a kick out of that. It's funny all the money we spend on lotions and potions lol.
i call mine ski slopes since nursing 2 kids! a friend of mine never got the concept until she called one day and said I HAVE SKI SLOPES!
so basicaly if I want firm hill tops that stand in the up right postion then surgery is the only option?
ladies,
I believe nlumpkin is correct. There is no muscle in your breast tissue, but there is muscle behind it. As you lose weight, by default, you will be losing the fat in your breast(s) as well.

My wife went from a C to a B, had kids, back to a C, back down to a B and so on. Butterflies are a very good idea. On your back on a bench, hold a weight in each hand, straight out to each side, slowly raise your arms to a position directly above your chest, bringing the weights together. Another type is again, laying on the bench, weight in each hand, raise your arms straight up like you are doing a push up, only pushing up to the ceiling. When they are straight up, slowly let them go backwards until you look like you are in a "diving position" keeping the arms straight the whole time, then slowly bring them back up straight over your chest again, and repeat.

If you firm the tissue and muscle behind and around your breasts, you'll be doing good. And, as a bonus, these excercises tend to also work the upper abdominal area too!
I will never have perky boobies. I'm not going to say what my size is, but let's just say I can't find my size at Wal-Mart. Anyway, for the ladies who want pretty bra's and are busty, there's an awesome website http://braexperience.com

I do the butterflies and excercise to strengthen my back. A good fitting bra and the excercises have helped reduce back pain a great deal. :)

My doctor said I should have a breast reduction but I'm too afraid of the knife. LOL
I feel your pain, but in the opposite direction. I went from a B cup to an A when I lost weight. Yuck.

In addition to slappy's chest flies try chest presses:

Chest flies: Chest flies

Chest presses: Lie in the same position as for chest flies. Now with your palms facing toward your feet, hold your arms out to your sides, bent at 90 degrees , so the weights are just above your head (your arms should drop slightly below your shoulders). Push both arms straight up, extending your arms all the way (your chest should push up a little bit at the end) and tap the weights lightly together at the top of the motion.

You can do chest flies and chest presses alternating arms. This is a little harder - you have to stabilize your chest and abs against the imbalance.

I have gone from a D to a C since losing weight..There isnt much you can do about it. But I feel if I could lose my stubbon tummy then the rest would look better by proportion! If I ever lose this bloody tummy Ill let you know if Im right..LOL..

This is a good topic .

I've always had a great bust, whether size 5 or now, way bigger, because of weight gain. The sexiness is lost because of the acquisition of a middle gut.

As I've had children and grown (groaned?) older, they've gotten lower, ski slopes, on and on. They got bigger as I gained weight, but, although they've served me well over the years, I think expecting them to pick themselves up as I lose weight and be perky like they were when I was 25 is too much to ask of them.

I think the short answer is yes. If we want the perky breasts of our youth, we will need the assistance of a sugeon.

Even though they're not as full or in the same place as years gone by, I would be happy if I could find someone to just pin them up a bit. I would hate to wake up with perky full breasts and find they don't give me the same physical pleasure or have scarring.

Even better is having a spouse or a bed partner who loves what we have and how they affect us. and who would like our understanding and acceptance of his former barrel chest that is now a gut and arms that can't lift us over his head or sweep us off our feet with the same finesse anymore.

Mostly, isn't it funny how we never really concern ourselves about how we feel about the aging process of the men in our lives. We always fuss how they feel about us.

I'm facing my 50th birthday next month, (super hard for me to admit and no one at my office knows. (I spent my 40th alone) and didn't realize until I wrote this, that my goal was to be like i was when I was 25.

For those of you who have been here already, you will understand. For those of you who aren't, you won't for a while.

Thanks for letting me sort some of this out. If there are any 49+ out there, I would be pleased to hear how to embrace where I am rather than where I was.

hunny13,
My wife and I have a mutual friend who had extremely large breasts. They caused her both physical and mental pain. Very self concious, low self esteem and horrible back pain.

The year she finished college, she finally had the breast reduction surgery. I think she balked at it for similar reasons as you, but the doctor said that some dangerous cysts were forming, and the surgery was moving beyond a "good idea" more to a "you really need to have this done now, for your health".

She had a total of 9 pounds removed in the surgery! What an amazing difference in has made in her life! She is much happier, has a lot more self confidence, and back pain is gone.

I've feared needles and knives too, but it doesn't seem to end up being as bad as our minds want to make it out to be.
