A Brief Introduction

Hello CC members. I am Dave, aged 44. I have been married for 7yrs and have one 6yr old daughter. My wife and daughter mean the world to me but alas I have fallen from grace!

Prior to my marriage I was an active man. I played sport, particularly football but there comes a time when the mind and heart are still willing but the legs no longer have what is needed.

I made the mistake of stopping all sporting activity without thinking of the consequences of having a poor diet and not exercising.

Now I find myself here, looking for inspiration.

My wife certainly helps me by creating healthier meals and I have taken up ging to the gym and there are signs of improvement but I am not yet satisfied.

I know I am not a teenager anymore but I do want to have a body that I can again be proud of and one that will provoke interest from my wife, as I am certain she does not approve of the extra weight I carry around as I tend to resemble Homer Simpson but without the yellow tinge:)

Also it would be nice to feel good about oneself again, be fit and be healthy.

Well that is it for now, my story is no different from the many I have seen already today but at least you know my situation.

All that remains for me to say is good luck to everyone and a pleasure meeting you all.

Regards.......Dave
