*Bringing "Sexy Back" Motivation Club*
I want to start a group of motivating girls that have the intention of bringing nothing but their sexy back... I would love to motivate, work towards, congratulate, get tough love and throw pity parties whenever deemed necassary... Anyone want to join me?? I do belong to other groups with other wonderful women but those challenges seem to be ending and people are dwindling... anyone want to stick through it with me, until we get our sexy back??
Special note: There are no weigh in days, no challenges, no scales, you are own challenge, whether you want to use measurements, scales or even a pair of jeans to measure your success, welcome, if you want to gain weight welcome, if you want to lose welcome, if you want to build up some curves welcome... we are all here to give one another positive reinforcements... ![]()
I am SO onboard with bringing sexy back! I'm 140 pounds right now and have been struggling to lose my last 15-20 pounds for months now. I don't want to be stick thin. I want to be sexy and feel sexy! Count me in!
Raena1117 - Yay!~ Welcome! We have the exact same goal!!!! I'm about 143 now and have been struggling with last 15-20 for months and months! I don't want to be stick thin, I just know what I look like at my regular weight... which is curvy and cute and I just want to put on a pair of jeans and a wife beater, like I used to and be hellacute again!!
I'm at my sexiest when I weigh between 120-125pounds... what are your work out goals?

Well because I just started taking it serious again, I am jogging a couple times a week in the morning(but I get shin splints) so I have been trying to do other things like walking up the fire roads by my house which are dirt roads that runs behind the houses and is allot of steep uphill. I also to yoga a couple times a week and some home video workouts when I can. I am trying to get a routine down but only really started being consistant a couple of weeks ago. I lost a couple pounds then had my birthday this weekend so gained it back:) I did have one to many glasses of red wine and Red Lobster. So today i am back to the healthy stuff :)
I'm in! Most of my other groups have dwindled down to nothingness, except for maybe one. I'd like to get back to an active one!!
Mandy - Those couple pounds are most likely water weight, whenever I indulge I get a few pounds up and then I do my cardio and lots' o water and it goes right back down... I do work out videos at home, mostly the Biggest Loser Cardio Max and Power Sculpt... I also do Jump Rope for Cardio... I try to go to the Women Fitness which is only 10bucks for the day, so if they have classes it totally worth it... I'm trying to cut back on the Wine and also NOT eating after 9pm NO MATTER WHAT! Keeping MOUTH SHUT! and no munching ... whenever I do this it helps me with getting the weight off.. I really would love to get the 20pounds off of me! so trying to break it down into mini goals, 5pounds by the end of the month and hopefully another 5 by the end of January! that would bring me to a better place goal wise! I try to visualize me putting on my clothes and feelign really pretty, and healthy at the same time :) I want that glow again ![]()
Welcome Girlfighting!!! - what do you do for your work outs?
I try and weight lift 15-30 minutes 5-6x a week. But i'm rather lazy.
I'm working on it.
With weather like today I worry about lazy too. It is hard to be motivated when I am so cold. I just want to curl up on the coach with a blanket. But I know that is not going to get rid of this weight
And working on it is a great start!

the lazy days i try to at least egt in the 15 minutes. At least i'm doing somthing. I have a really sendentary desk job so you'd think i'd be able to do more.
Okay so Mandy, let's do something right now... I'm in my work out clothes too and I think I'm going to put on my Music Mix and Jump Rope for at least 20min... now I say 20min but really I'm going to be pushing to get 50min in, of Interval Jumping... it's like once I start I get into a zone... going to push to do it now... let me know what your going to do to get a work in... somehow... I'm gonna check in you ladies in a bit...

aww.. thanks. I'm looking to lose I'm around 150lbs now and looking to get back down to 130lbs. I went from having a rather active job to a desk job and really didn't realize how much it would catch up to me!! So I'm trying to watch what i eat and get in some serious exercise
Well right now i am at work(just wishing I was home) but tonight While dinner is in the oven i plan to do a 30 minute workout on my on demand, then later after dinner I will do jumping jacks, and pushups.
Awesome - Okay just finished my 50min jump rope... I freelance so I'm not working today so better do it now before I get real busy...
Girlfight - I understand I was on a role from 156 down to 140 and then started a job and was so stressed and editing all night long sometimes till 3am and eating at midnight I gained back up to 149 so since been working out soo hard to get down ... now i'm probably at 142-143 don't even know my scale actually broke! so going by a pair of J Brand Skinny Jeans now... they are 29's but hoping that they will start to get loose and hope to get to 27's that would be great! that's my perfect size, 4! ![]()

Can I join? I'm the same with most of my challenges and stuff ending now. I wanna bring sexy back but I really only have maybe 10 pounds to lose and that is with everyone telling me that's a little too skinny. I don't think so. I am 5'4" and currently about 127-128. I wanna be 120 with my clothes and shoes on in the middle of the day so I think that would be about 115 in the morning. I know it is a healthy bmi and not that low of one either.
I really want a tone stomach and butt. (My butt is pretty much there along with my legs from all the jogging. They are actually my nicest feature now.) But my stomach is where all the work is. I do an extensive ab workout twice a week and I think it is coming along slowly but surely. Of course I have to lose that layer of fat before anything will actually start to show. (Hence wanting to lose that last 10 pounds.)
Exercise really isn't my hardest thing but lately it is diet. I am just so sick of watching what I eat like a hawk. I find myself doing maintenance days a lot more recently and my average calorie intake has gone up about 200.
Dolly- Yep, you definately need to gain.
sorayazada- You really jumprope for 50min? That is amazing. The most I have ever managed is maybe 30min but most of the time I do about 10-15 for my second workout of the day.

Carlynj21 - I had to work up to 50min of Jump Rope but it's interval, w/breaks to do jumping jacks, push ups, lunges, etc., ... I absolutely understand about losing the layer of fat, I find that with Cardio I lose faster... so I want my tummy to be back to a slick place, I've been 115 before and it was fine for me, the only thing is I lose my bum! and I like to have a little bit of curve... so I have the ultimate goal of getting back to 120, but for now 130 and even 125 will do me just fine :) Welcome to the group
Dollymixtures - Welcome girl! and let's get your sexy back for sure! have you tried protein and whey shakes? muscle milk as well? to help bulk up? I know that Carbs would be great for you especially potatoes! What does your diet consist of? and have you thought about working up to Lifting?? I know that would be soo helpful for you to gain a little muscle back, let's try to get you at 105 ... you can do it!!! healthily :)
Hi Ladies!! This is a great group I'd love to join because I definitely need to bring my SEXY BACK, lol!!! I am currently 195 even though everyone says I don't look it, well honey, the scale doesn't lie! anyway, I would love to be 140 and I've been working out with a personal trainer for two months and have lost about 11 1/2 inches all over, definitely need to do more! I would love to stick with this group and show my results but it won't be easy and will take some time! I love this site and I'm so glad I joined!!!
Ok so I just did 30 minutes of P90X kickboxing. I feel really good and got a nice burn. Now i just need to work my way up to being able to do more:)
I've been peeking at the post all night long. I think that it sounds like a great idea. You are all so positive and that is the best thing to keep motivation up. And seriously, who doesn't want to bring their sexy back?
I'm 5'2" and weighed in today at 125. I don't need to lose a lot of weight (10 lbs MAX, no more), but i'm awful at staying motivated. I also love to give encouragement to others. So, i think this might be a good place to start.
