I Just Broke The 300 Lbs. Barrier!

Quote  |  Reply
On April 6th I woke up and felt completely different, I didn't know what it was and there's no way I could explain it. I began a new lifestyle on that day. Nearly four months later I am still going strong, compared to the normal day I would last on previous diets. But I don't consider this a diet, it's a new way of life, a new mental awareness. I started out weighing 337 lbs. and I was biggest I had been in my life (I'm 27/M). As of Saturday I weighed 299 lbs. Do you know how great it is to see a '2' instead of a '3' in front of those other two numbers?

I have been exercising, eating healthier and I have never felt better about my life. I hope you all find happiness...

Amazing! I'm going to relish like crazy the day when I get down below 200!

Congrats, buddy! That's fantastic. You're doing great!
Nuno...that is FANTASTIC.  I do know what it's like to see that new first number.  Having always been 250+ my entire life, I almost passed out when I got into the 1's.  Congratulations man, you have worked your butt off!  It's so easy to do when you look at it as a way of life and not just a "diet".  We hope to hear more successes from you! :-D
That's awesome!

I totally know how you feel.  this is about life change, not being on a diet.  the knowledge about calories i get from the food log has been amazing.  not to mention all the wonderful support and advice from the community.

Wow!  38 pounds in 4 months!  You did good.

There really is nothing like that thrill when you actually see success measured by the scale.
