Bruises On Legs, Possibly from Working Out

Quote  |  Reply

Hi everyone, another question.

I've been working out a lot (between one hour to an hour and half every day) and I've started to notice small bruises around my legs.  Now it could honestly be that I knocked myself somehow but I see bruises and I can't think of anytime that I got them.  I just wanted to know if it was possible to get small bruises when you are exercising a lot and starting to build muscle.

P.S. I want to point out the bruises about between the size of a nickel and a quarter.  They are not very dark and I am also very pale (like two steps away from being albino).

I had this same exact question and I was going through posts to maybe see if someone else has this problem. I've never been really easily bruised up until recently. I started running pretty regularly a couple of weeks ago on top of weight lifting and an abs class I go to. I have a HUGE nasty colored bruise and I have no idea where it came from. I'm sure I must have done something to it but where it is on my leg is strange. It isn't in a place that I would have likely bumped. Also, my dog jumped on me and scratched me (not very hard) and I bruised where she did that. She has done this plenty of times before without me bruising. I also have about 4 or 5 other light bruises that I have no explanation for. Does anyone know what could be causing this bruising? I feel like I have the same problem as khodgdo. Any help would be much appreciated!Undecided
