Brunette or Redhead? (want your opinion on my hair)

I put some pictures in my profile.  Which is better on me, Brunette or Redhead?

both look good. But I would have to say brunette seeing as the countours of your eyes are dark and therefore you would acentuate a more peircing glance. Though if you went with redhead, you would have a more easy going look.

I would say the brunette compliments you most IMHO. But you really do look lovely both ways. In the 3rd picture on the left side of your gallery (in the yellow sweater with the red hair.) you remind me of Gillian Anderson in it. ;)

However, Brunette definitely seems more like a match for you. It compliments your complexion and eyes a lot more. :)

I would go with the red, but a shade or two darker than the one in your gallery. Black hair ages you too much IMHO.

I vote brunette too it looks much more natural than the red and really look great with your skin tone.

As the above posts you look great with both colours but IMO brunette but that's not to say you can't have red highlights added.

As much as I like red hair, the brown looks *much* better on you.  It makes your skin look fabulous.

Thank you guys!!    My mother and my husband will thank you!  They both think I should NOT go red again.  I'm a recovering hair dye addict, and I spent years growing out my natural hair color again.  I've got the old itch to dye again though, so this was the reality check I needed!  I think I can resist now... When I look at the pictures, it looks like the red makes me look paler and washed out.

btw:  You could always consider highlights/lowlights of red. That's my suggestion to curb your addiction, Lol.Plus: I actually think that would look very nice as a combo. Just picking between these though I would stay away from the red. ;) Or: Just try another shade and /or color instead of that one. A darker/different shade of red would flatter you much more than the color in the photos,imo.

It has been said you look good in both, I would put them together!  Look into a chestnut/red, where you would see brown but highlights of red are there!

Hmmm.. I really like that second picture of you as a brunette.  I think the darker color with your brown eyes makes it work.  Your hair also looks longer & fuller in that second picture, so I think that has something to do with it. 

In picture 4, you have red hair but it's longer and looks curlier/fuller.  I think that looks better than in # 1. 

i like the brunette but i am a bit bias as i am a brunette too. you look beautiful with both and can pull off being a red head.

You really do look good with both. I like the red just because it's different

I would agree that you look great either way.......however,  RED would be my choice.  That is look that you pull off very well!

Oh wow, now I've got the itch again   I'm getting restless because I've got about 8 gray hairs now.  It's hard to get really nice looking red hair over gray, so I know that my days are numbered!
