Not much, but at least it's in the downward direction.  Good luck to everyone.

Forgot is was Wednesday until I saw your post, gracie! Downward is always good!

Mine was 243 yesterday, but came back up to 244.5 today, hmm Wednesdays seem bad for me these days lol....still, downward from last week!

Victoria, maybe we should change our weigh in days to Tuesday - fool the scale.  lol    Good for you on the downward direction.

Forgot to post on Wednesday.  Probably because I had nothing good to report. No loss.

Yeah! The scale finally moved in the right direction again.  Now I am just 101.6 pounds away from my dream weight.  lol  Right now, I'll be happy if I ever get under 250 though.

gracie yay for getting one step closer to your goals! You are doing great!

I skipped last week cuz I was on holidays....Vegas is NOT good for eating healthy...so I guess I should be happy I am only up 1.5 lbs (and aren't I glad I recorded the higher weight instead of the lower one last time?!)

Well, I had wanted to be under 250 by April 1, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.  Maybe by May 1 if I'm lucky.

Victoriagirl, I could never go to Vegas.  I would lose all my money and eat all the free buffets.  It would not be a good thing.  Hope you had fun!

Looks like it's just you and me gracie, putt-putting along. Slow and steady wins the race, right? I am back to pre-Vegas weight, so that's not too bad.

I did not see any free buffets in Vegas. Good thing I guess! We only went to one buffet, it was pretty mediocre. I ate too much but didn't stuff myself, we went walking around afterwards. The portions sizes everywhere were apalling, though!  I'm glad to be back to making my own meals and calorie-counting. It's clear I am totally not ready to off the map yet!

Holding. Also TTOM bloated and sore from working out so likely retaining water, so I am hopeful for a good number next week.

Nothing!  Not even a half pound.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I have been very good with riding the bike 5 days a week for an hour each day.  then on the two off days, I walk 3 miles.

I'm not eating that bad either.  I usually have a 700-800 calorie deficit, sometimes more.  So what??????  Sometimes this is just all so frustrating.

Hope we both have a good number next week.

Yay, 2 lbs for the week! Unfortunately it's the same two lbs for the whole month but hey who's counting? ;)

Victoriagirl, congrats on the 2lbs!  I am starting to get so frustrated.  I didn't even lose a pound this week.  When I see others losing 8 pounds a week, I just want to scream.  I would just be happy with a consistent 1 to 1.5 pounds a week, but no, I have to do it an ounce at a time.  But it was down instead of up, so I should be happy about that.

Victoriagirl, I was just over in the 300+ thread and saw you had lost 98lbs!  Wow!  Way to go girl.  That is awesome.

I know exactly how you feel. I am so glad I am down two lbs, as I said it's the only ones for the whole month and I'd have cried if there was nothing to show for a whole month! It's happened before. Seems like every pound, every ounce, is a struggle these days. Whenever I read about others sailing through with a huge weekly/monthly loss, I just console myself with this: losing slower is much better for you.

1. You don't have to buy a whole new wardrobe every month, who can afford that

2. Less stress on organs, I've heard of people winding up with major problems like gall bladder needing removal due to losing really fast

3. Less skin issues. I have a fear of loose skin, it's already pretty loose in some spots, so if I don't want that I have to lose slow. Can't have it both ways!

4.  Losing lbs slowly allows me to enjoy each stage of this process instead of whizzing through it all

5. The slower you lose, the more likey it is to stay off in the long-term

6. I am learning what maintenance is like, so that when I get there it will be easier. I think in some ways maintenance will be harder than losing because there won't be as much positive reinforcement like fitting into smaller clothes, having larger clothes no longer fit, getting the rush that comes from seeing a new change happen.

Haha we posted at the same time

Thanks, I am soooo close to my 100 lbs lost goal! And even closer to my half-way point goal (half way between my goal weight and my weight when I really committed to this process last year) - just one more pound to that :)

I refuse to write down what the scale told me this morning. Refuse! Alright I will write it down but not in the proper "CW" spot, it said 243.5 but that's such BS. It said 241.5 on Monday....I am confused about which is more accurate...so I am witholding any opinion on this until next week! (When it will be post-Easter with all it's delicious ham and kolbassa and paska and I will be seriously sodium-bloated and have a big fit for sure lol)

Thank goodness it went down.  Victoriagirl, I think you should just go with Monday's weight.  The scale is just being fickle.  You probably didn't pay enough attention to it between Monday and Wednesday and it is trying to get back at you.   lol  Yes, I am "looking forward" to next week's weigh in after the Easter ham.  I love ham and all the sodium that goes with it.

Hi,

Is it too late to join this group?  I could really use the support and accountability.  My name is Larena and I've been on calorie count for awhile but I am just now getting serious about it.  Here's my stats.

You are welcome to join us Larena, our "membership" is pretty sparse right now! Looks like you are very close to my current weight and your goal is the same as mine; I bet you are 5'8" and looking to get to a "normal" BMI like me right?!

Thanks so much.  I like the sparse membership because it's easy to get lost in  a big group.  :  )  I think I'm 5'8" even though the doctor says 5'7.5"  Ha.  I will be so happy to see a "Normal"  BMI.  I don't know if I've ever been at a normal BMI since childhood.  What day do you weight in?
