Looking for buddies that are committed, and serious about losing weight. If your not going to stick around here, please don't join me in our weight loss journey, I am looking for serious people wanting to lose weight the healthy way and determined to accomplish it. I have been on this journey many times but this time I am sticking to it, I have been working on this for 5 years and have lost 85 lbs, it has not been easy but Im not giving up until I hit my goal of 150 lbs, no matter how long it takes me. Im looking for anyone that would like to join me on this adventurous journey. I will support and offer any advice that I have learned along the way so far.

I don't want to sound like a hardass but, I started in a challenge on CC and the people faded 1 by 1 each week, as we are into our I think the 10th week there are only myself and one of challenger left there were only around 13 people. So I hope I can find some new friends to join me.  Please come join in the fun,frustration,ups, downs, ins and outs and all that other shi... that goes on.Smile

Oh forgot, we'll do weekly weigh ins on Wednesday's and I'll get my measurements tomorrow. We'll talk however much is needed to keep us motivated.

Well I have been around for almost a year.  Would love to be part of the group but my weekly weigh-ins won't be very interesting.  I'm five pounds away from my goal weight of 154.  Its taking forever!

I plan on sticking around so I can get through the last five and learn how to maintain the loss.  So even though we don't share similar goals, we do share a strong sense of determination!  Let me know if you are interested.

Hi, I have been on this journey for about 3 years now.  I started at 437lbs and as of today I am at 213lbs.  I have 50 more lbs to lose and it is getting very hard to move the scale! 

What is it you are looking to do?  Form a group?  Additional support?

Hi, I re-started CC about a month ago and have dropped 10 lbs. I recently upped my calorie intake a bit and began zig zagging calories. It's working! This is the first "diet" or "lifestyle change" that I know I can wrap my brain around and keep up for the long haul, so I'm in. I plan to lose slowly and steadily, since that's how it came on. I usually weigh myself on Thursday and Saturday, but can change to Weds. (Haven't done measurements yet, not sure I'm ready to face that eye-opener!)

Hey, welcome everyone, I hope we can accomplish our goals together, no matter if your 5 lbs or 500 lbs to lose, we can do this.  I am also doing WW, I weigh in on Wednesday mornings and this morning, Im up 0.2, my husband and I went away for the weekend had a wonderful time but did not CC or WW so I dont think thats to bad. Here are my stats: when I started CC in March 09 I was at:

SW: 232.8

CW: 225.2 (total- 7.6)

I'll take whatever I can get, my husband and I started back at the gym this week, haven't been there since November, I got really sick and then it got really cold and I pretty much hibernate in the winter, hate the cold. Went back on Monday did a run/walk in 36 minutes, but Tuesday legs were so sore coulnd't barely walk, going back to gym tonight but not overdoing it. Not sure if I need to eat more, or change my activity level, its at light right now, any advice on that, and it said to eat 1538. Hope you ladies decide to join me  on this journey. Oh my goal weight is about 150, I am small to med.

Wednesday weigh-in: 225.4   |  Stats: sw 236 | gw 149 | 5'10" | small frame

Weight is the same as last Saturday, which was expected. My lowest calorie day is Weds, which is why I initially chose Thursday as my personal weigh-in day. Of course I sneak a step on the scale much more often than I should and found that for some weird reason my highest calorie day, Saturday, is also consistently my lowest weight of the week, so I use that weight as the one to work off of and report in my weight log (who wouldn't!!)

My exercise for yesterday and today is digging the new lawn/garden. Small space, about 15x25, but feels very large when you're digging it out! If I'm up to it, I'll jump on the treadmill later.

SW: 249| CW:243| GW:135| 5'6"| medium frame.

So i started to the gym since last Monday, 11th and weighed in at 249. I am excited with my 6pound lost so far. I haven't really given up any food i like but i have been cutting down on my portions. for instance i had half a cheeseburger and some fries. adding alot of lettuce to the burger.  I have been working out every other day for anywhere between 45 to 1-1/2 hours.  trying not to drink much soda. picking up my water intake.
