buring?
Making your deficit too large or going below 1200 net calories a day (1500 if you're a man) will only serve to put you into metabolic slowdown mode where your body will hold on to every gram of body fat for dear life - diet and exercise works better when you're gently pushing your body where you want it to go.
Your body is a fabulous instrument that will serve you well for all of your life if you work with it and figure out how to persuade it to do what you want. Your body can't tell the difference between "famine" and "diet" - so the trick is to be gentle about it so you don't scare the poor thing by making it think there's a famine going on!
That's why you're advised to use the teen calculator to figure out what your needs really are - the tools on Calorie-count are geared towards adults and it's not going to give you the right number. If you do it the right way and you're gentle about it, your body will love you right back by doing exactly what you want it to.
are you sure you even know how to count calories??
like you don't even know how to spell or make a proper sentence (let alone one that actually makes sense)... how could you possibly be able to do simple math like count??

She has every right to ask her questions and be answered kindly, regardless of how she spells. I say she's ahead of the pack for trying to learn how to eat right.
As Melkor said, make sure you look through the info for teens and that you're getting enough calories and understand how to go about losing weight, if that is your goal. It's gonna be a bit different for you than for adults because your body is still sorting itself out.
well, can't argue with ya there... my hair did cost about $10... (walmart baby, oh yeah)... just touch ups till i get it highlighted again... meh, the boys seem to like it ;)

hmm you may be right... but i think we all can agree that anyone that hasn't even hit puberty yet shouldn't be trying to lose weight
