How does the Burn Calorie amount work

I understand the calorie counter on my home page but a bit confused with the amount next to it is this what I can eat because Ive exersised can anyone advise please

On your home page there is one tote board for how much you eat, that's the one on the left.

On the other side is how many calories you are burning.  If you don't add any activity to it, the tote board will show how many calories you burn at your designated base activity level).

Example:   If you are sedentary it might log 200 calories an hour.  If you are fairly active it might log 300 calories and hour.....

If you add in any extra activity, like a walk or water aerobics to your activity log then these calories will show up there too.

It is to give you an idea of what your calorie excess or debit is according to your food intact or movement amounts.

So, in theory as long as the calorie count stays lower than the calorie burn all day long, I will lose weight?
