Hello every one!
I have a question on the burn meter. I realize the number at the top is the amount of calories you supposedly burn just by being alive. So, does that mean you should add every activity you do aside from lying in bed IE: driving, working at your desk etc.?
I had the same question when I started out. This is the answer I got back and it has been working for me. If you set your activity level at sedentary then it accounts for calories burned during your everyday life, which included driving, desk work, etc. Then you add in exercise or extra activities. I add in when I work out and do really strenuous household tasks (i.e. Spring Cleaning, Cleaning out the Garage, stuff like that), but I don't add laundry, dishes and things I do every day. For the most part, I only add my workouts unless something else comes up. Hope this helps.
That does help! Thanks.
