Does the burn meter INCLUDE my exercise for the day?
Hi All,
I'm sure this answer is obvious, but I've looked everywhere. I had originally assumed that the burn meter includes my exercise for the day, but I wanted to double check. I did a long tough workout today -- about 1128 calories per my HRM -- and my burn meter is expected to hit 2700 calories. So, subtracting out my almost three-hour workout, I guess the calculator is saying I'll probably burn about 1600 calories just keeping my bad self breathing and such.
So can I just rely on the burn meter or do I need to add back in exercise calories?
Thanks!!!!!
I think it depends on your preference. Some people prefer to put themselves on a higher activity level. Some (like me) prefer to set my normal activity level at "sedentary" and then I manually log my exercise. Then it automatically adds those calories to my burn meter.
Thanks!
Yes, that's exactly what I do. So that makes sense... ![]()
