Burn meter question Help me please!
Most days of the week I do a 30 minute workout that brings my burn meter up to 2090 for the day. Today it only says 2010. I checked what I entered and it is the same as every other day. I haven't changed anything else or had a birthday or anything like that. Why is this? Does anybody know??
I've noticed my burn meter dropped too! I think CC must have changed something since yesterday. It hurts knowing that without exercise I only burn 1460 calories a day instead of 1600 like it used to say.
But -sigh- it's probably more accurate now.
The burn meter should be back to what it was a few days ago - they are messing around with the formula, but some things didn't quite work as they were supposed to. However, while mine got set back to normal, people were still posting that their's were off, so I don't know if some people's remained messed up. Oh good! I just posted in the Weight Loss forum about this. I thought it was just me.
Mine is still off by like 200 cals -ish. Is there someone I should notify? Or will it eventually get back to where it was? It kind of scared me! haha
Have you double checked your account settings, to make sure you are still at the same activity level you thought you were at?
What is the Burn Meter? I know It's on my home page but, I can't make heads or tails of it?
Okay I figured out the Burn Meter, but can I look at yesterdays Burn Meter?
No - it's something that people have asked for, but so far, if you want to keep track, I thnk a lot of people record their total burn/consumed/deficit in their journals.

Yes, I have and I am still set at sedentary. However, I did have a birthday. Would that really make me burn 200 calories less a day, though?
I have also double checked my account settings and everything is still the same as I had it set before. AND my burn meter went down another 40 calories today! What is going on??
Again, I recommend anyone still seeing issues with their burn meter to cross check it with www.phord.com/cc and see what that says for "BURN"

I can't explain it, but you do a search at the top of the page, click on forums, type in Burn Meter and then search, you'll find a few explantions. I found it very helpful!

Also, on the page for My Account, there is a "?" button in the top right, near the burn meter - that links to the FAQ to answer your question
So...what is the consensus? Calorie count just decided that they had their burn meter too high so they changed it?
