what is burn meter telling

hi! i m new here!!

 i checked my account today to enter my daily entries... at that time it said "total estimate  2150 " and after about half an hour  i checked it and it was saying 2250  ???  what is this?

My guess would be that they are accounting for your background metabolism as the day progresses. Your cells burn a certain amount of energy just by being alive, and they are providing an estimate based on what you input for your activity level, height, weight, etc...

The accuracy of the estimate is anyone's guess...
