Alright weight lose is calories in - calories = deficit.   3500 calories = 1 lb of fat... so a 3500 calorie deficit aproximately equals 1 lb lost.

Now some important points.  It is not healthy to lose more then 1% of you body weight a week. You didn't gain the weight over night so you can't lose it over night.  And the faster you lose the more likely you are to gain it back.

Also it's not health to have a deficit over 1000 calories.  A deficit that is too large will do nasty things to your body and really hinder your weight lose.  A deficit that is too large makes you body think it is starving so rather then burning calories it will do everything in it's power to conserve calories.  Also too big a deficit will have you body breaking down muscles for energy rather then fat because muscle is easier to break down.

Another thing an woman over 21 should never eat less then 1200 calories, a woman under 21 should never eat less then 1500 calories.  Under 1200 calories it is nearly impossible to get all the nutrients your body needs from your food and again malnutrition does bad thing to your body.

You need to look at your number with these thing in mind.   I also noticed that you mentioned feeling ill on 1450... that's not good.  Considering how much you exercise I can almost guarentee that 1450 is way too low.

if you burn meter says your burning 2579 you need to eat at least 1579.  and honestly you should probably eat closer to 1879.  You sound really active so you don't want to under feed your body.

I also noticed that you mentioned that your losing dress sizes but not weight.  You also mention that you lift weights.  This likely means you building muscle, and a pound of muscle takes up a lot less space then a pound of fat.  Also lifting weights you may want to go with a slightly higher calories goal to give your body the fuel to build muscle and maybe a higher protein content.  This could also be adding to your sick feeling.

Good luck!!

I have a question for lunaripyros if you put on weight quickly can you lose more then 1% of your body fat a week? Let say you gain 25 pounds in 3 monthes does that mean you can lose it at the same rate.

Honestly... that's not something I've researched.  But for most people weight gain happens slowly.  rapid weight gain is more unusual and ((though I'm hardly an expert, I just read obsessively))  usually a sign that something with your body has changed. Like pregnancy, thyroid issues, changes in your routine...or sometimes depression.  But that's probably not true for every one.  If you have experienced rapid weight gain and have no idea how or why a check up with your doctor couldn't hurt.  ((Though again I'm not expert))

Of course the general pattern is losing and gaining quickly leads to yo-yoing weeght and no actual solution.

The reason it's not a good idea to lose more then 1% of your body weight is because it usually involves severe restrict, starvation diets, and/or over exercising. ((please see the reasons it's a bad idea it eat under 1200 calories or have a deficit over 1000 calories)) These thing are not good for you at all.  starvation diets or severe calorie restriction can lead to muscle lose leading to that look often called skinny fat.  It can also lead to malnutrition which can cause organ damage, lose of hair, lose of period... really a whole list of things that ends in death.  ( check out some of the reading on the health and support forum for eating disorders, much more knowledgeable people have posted fuller list of the health problems associated with these problems)))

Also severe restriction, starvation, and over exercising are hard to keep up in the long run... either health problems or ending up returning to your old habits once you reach your goal.  When you return to your old habits your going to gain weight back... your body will feel like it has been in a famine and it will be storing up food against the next one.

Once again leading to yoyo dieting.

I'm not saying it's impossible but with how the body works and the risks  (( which I stress include not only gaining the weight back and then some but also death!!!))is it really worth it?
